Wufei Chang is the pilot of Gundam Shenlong, and easily the most prideful and hotblooded of the bunch. His sense of justice always drives his actions, and he is one that will not let anyone stand in his way. He is known on the battlefield for his anger and ruthlessness, making him a fearsome opponent to anyone he faces.

As an heir to the Long Clan, he had an arranged marriage with his master’s granddaughter Meiran. Initially more of a scholar than a fighter, that all changed when his home colony was attacked by OZ. Both he and Meiran defended the colony and successfully drove off the militia, but it came at the cost of Meiran’s life.

Now Wufei is determined to avenge the death of his wife, even going so far as to nickname his Gundam “Nataku” in her honor. His major adversary throughout the series would be the leader who orchestrated the attack on his colony: Treize Kushranada.
