Yami no Matsuei

I would recommend this to anyone who can use their imagination and likes to think during an anime, not just have it all laid out for you at once. This show will make you think, and even though it is only 13 episodes, you will want to watch it time and time again. Tsuzuki and Hisoka are shinigami (or guardians of death, but thats lame :P) and run into a complete nutjob, Dr Muraki. Muraki is quite possibly the best bad/insane guy ever. The whole show is witty and clever and BEAUTIFULLY animated. It is shonen-ai which means there is boy love, but nothing TOO major. I mean, were talking a pretty PG anime here except for some language, and some mentioned things. So if you are interested in anything fantasy/thriller whodunnit kind of things, I can guarantee that you will LOVE Yami no Matsuei.

Quick tip, watch the subtitled version. The english dub did not match AT ALL. They show Descendants of Darkness, the englih name, on SyFy for anime monday, but don't watch it. At least watch one episode of both if you don't believe me. Muraki is SUPPOSED to have a deep, smooth voice, not a high annoying nasaly one.

'Yami No Matsuei' is a YAOI series that most of the pairings to me seem that they revolve around the main character named, A Tsuzuki.
The series has all types of pairings to please anyone and let their imagination run wild.Wheather your a shounji-ai lover or a yaoi fan,
you might love the series if your into angst and slight horror.But if your looking for a longer series or one with hardcore sex I wouldn't
recommend this.But this is really a great series.
