Stefanie Sun (born on July 23, 1978) is a Singaporean singer who made her debut in June 2000. Japanese music fans may recognise her for the two duets she has done in English with Kuraki Mai. Her music is extremely popular in Southeast Asia and China.
Sun Yan Zi is one of the few Singaporean artists to achieve superstardom in the Chinese music market. She is so well regarded in Singapore that she is a role model for other Singaporean artists wishing to crack into the Chinese music market. She is the only major award-winning Chinese artist from Singapore.
