You're Beautiful

Can I just say that JANG GEUN SUK IS THE PERFECT ROLE FOR THE LEADING MAN! He is the best musician/artist/ ever! I also adore the storyline, though it kind of resembles that of Boys over flowers. What stands out is the music they make, and it really accounts as believable.

This is the best asian drama I've seen so far.
It really has it all; a great story line; awesome characters; beautiful music; and the actors they selected carried out their role perfectly. I was so sad when i finished watching this (the end was great though) because that was it for me. I have seen this drama two times and I still think I'm going to re-watch it, it's just that good.
It all starts when Go Mi Nyu is visited by her brother, Go Mi Nam's manager. He ask her to pretend to be her brother so that he can get into this band called A.N. Jell. she's hesitant at first bust does it when the manager tells her why her brother wanted to sing. she signs a contract with the group and starts to live with them and is having difficulties especially when the leading male Tae Kyung finds out she's a girl. He innitially tries to use this against her and get her to quit the group because he doesn't like her but then he starts to develope feeling for her and she for him. All of the members of A.N. Jell eventually end up falling for her which creates conflict along with the fact that Tae Kyung's mother abandoned him for a shocking reason and the fact that Yoo He Yi, a famous actress, starts blackmailing them when she finds out the Go Mi Nam she knows is actually Go Mi Nyu the girl.
This drama gets better and better with every episode and it gets even more romantic and intense as the story unfolds. I believe that this is a must see for all the asian drama fanatics out there, there will be no regrets.

well what can i say...
this is probably the BEST series ever...well so far..i mean there might be some drama that's coming up that's better than this...but i doubt it.
i love the characters especially Hwang Tae Kyung..he's so funny and cute...the way he's so smart, gentle also sometimes mean but is a clean freak totally got me into liking him and the actor that plays him....Jang Gun Suk...kyaaa!!!!lol..
Go mi nam is also funny....any drama that has a girl pretending to be a guy really catches my attention and i automatically love it..
and because of jeremy and shin woo in the drama..they got me to listen to more kpop especially their bands, CN Blue and FT Island,...
this is such an amazing drama

Overall the sequence of events were pretty predictable, but you can't help falling in love, liking, laughing, crying w/ or at these characters!

Of course the men were oh-so-adorable in their own unique character. So that ESPECIALLY helps boosts the show's overall success!
Admittedly, it's an adorable and romantic dramedy. I really dislike unrequited love stories, however, I managed to make it through. Emotionally speaking.

The storyline is actually a bit better than decent (I meant to rate it "good" or "4" stars). The story is more cute b/c the main female lead in this gender bender was not the typical cool tomboy. She was simply just a kind-hearted, normal girl who experiences all kinds of "firsts," such as love.

The music. Well, the show's "in-character" band's (ANJELL) song was cheesy, but when female Go Minam sings, it's actually nice. Other songs played were k-pop and american pop music. The show was very "in fashion."

I LOVE the characters! Jeremy and Shin Woo are my favorites! Jeremy is sooo cute!!! <3 Taekyung is admirable as well. Girl Go Minam Is funny, cute, and naive. Don't get annoyed at her clueless trait. Can't be helped. :)

There's a reason this show's popular! Even if you don't care for the story much, watch it for the 3 Cute Korean Men. They're worthy all right.

well this drama was just wow i loved it i mean i admit there were times when i was like im not going to watch this anymore because of mi nyu......i didnt like that she didnt defend her self which goes agaisnt what i believe in which is that you should always stand up for youreslf now i understand that that is how her character was so i let it slide but still it got on my nerves the other characters were good overall especially Jang Geun Suk's character who i seem to have forgotten his name...i think it was Hwang Tae Kyung not sure but anyway the drama was pretty good overall...i strongly reconmend this for anyone who loves asian dramas and Jang Geun Suk ^^

when i first time watching this drama .. i thought it was a boring kdrama .. ==" because gemma / go mi - nyu was a nun .. and i hate nuns .. @_@ when it is in drama of course .. xPP but when i tried finishing the episode one .. it was a totally WOW .. o.O i was so shocked to see how funny this series is .. xDD

but most of all, i've loved this drama because of tae - kyung oppa .. ;]] haha ! oppa tae - kyung is so CUTEEEEEE ! and o m g .. I LOVE HiS SMiLE .. aigooo !! .. xDD

i think this drama stands between okay and good. at first, i was very excited to watch every episode. i kept on asking, "omg! what will happen next?". but then, there was a time when i stopped watching it. it was not so exciting as before. in fact, i finished watching the whole series for the sake of just finishing the drama.(redundant much?)anyway, the plot is a bit dragging. yeah.. that was disappointing since 'you're beautiful' ranked no. 1 in 'mysoju'. [i just want to say that i am not against YAB's ranking in mysoju. i like this series.]

aside from the plot, the rest was good. i like the songs featured in YAB especially hwang tae kyung's "Without words". i also like the song "As Ever." if you love music, you will kinda love this series..:)

as for the acting, Lee Hong Ki did a great job though his character was a bit O.A. sometimes. he always made me smile. JEREMY is ♥! but i also like hwang tae kyung's character. he's arrogant, bossy, cool and cute.

Even though the plot wasn't that promising, this series is a must-watch. there are lots of inspirational lines and the songs convey meaningful messages.

Because this is a kdrama, you can't expect too much from it. Yes, You're Beautiful is an awesome drama. Pretty boys, thrown in comedy, awesome music, what more do you want? The thing that upsets me is how stupid everyone in this drama seems to be. In the first few episodes, Go Mi Nam is suppose to substitute for her twin brother and joins a boy band. This means that she has to pretend to be a guy. While she's a fun and loving character, she can't play as a guy. To be exact, she is obviously a girl. Her feelings show on her face and the way she portrays herself makes it so obvious that she's not a guy. First, her voice. Seriously, i have never met a guy, even one that hasn't gone through puberty, with such a high, but amazing, voice. If that's not obvious, there are times when she's walking, or even standing where you can see her breasts. Besides that, everything is good. It's a simple drama that ends with a smile on your face. If you like romance and comedy please check this out. Just be sure to close your eyes when you see Go Mi Nam trying to act like a guy.

This is really really the best drama i´ve ever watched *-* i think i watched this 4 times already lol
soo when i first started watchin it i was like "oh she´s cute but she is really shy -.- and what´s with that church outfit?" but then after 5 minutes i was sooo into this drama :DD i really wished that A.N.JELL was a true band though -.-

the storyline is just the best *-* the characters are so cuute <33
the music was just great thx to them i also found new songs which i can add to my music list
so plzz watch and support this series ^^
&& I WANT AT LEAST SEASON 2 OF THIS CAUSE THE ENDING WAS REALLY WAY TOO QUICK !!
