the story is great.. it was funny and kawaii, sugoi, lovable, i like chika and shito when there blushing, i like looking their faces , they are cute ...

I found this anime when I was searching in a site for anime with the genre of supernatural, fantasy, mystery, action, and comedy. A lot of anime was shown and I read all of their plots and I got interested in a few of them including Zombie-Loan. The thing about this anime which caught my interest was its unique plot and cool characters, but having only eleven episodes held me back from watching it. However I still decided to give it a try.

Now for the review I’ll be criticizing four aspects namely storyline, characters, music, and visual. First is what caught my attention which is the storyline. When I read the plot online I had a high expectation on this anime and as I watch each episode I found the story pretty amazing and mysterious but something for me is missing and that’s the presence of the main antagonist. The story wasn’t just complete without the confrontation between the main protagonist and antagonist, the eleven episodes only served as the introduction for the whole story and I’m looking forward for more. Second would be regarding characters. Visually I liked all of them and the character development was great even though it’s just with Kita Michiru and Tachibana Shito whose personalities changed throughout the story. Also it would have been cool if Akatsuki Chika developed his power because he’s my favorite character. Describing the character; Michiru was just so cute with or without her glasses; Chika was both funny and cool, a really good combination of personality; Shito was so mysterious and cool at the same time. Third is regarding music, the only music I liked in the eleven episodes was the piece played in the episode where a flashback was shown back when Chika and Shiba were still alive and not yet zombies. The piece established a really sad ambiance and it was great. Last one would be regarding visuals and it was also great. The characters were visually appealing, the fight scenes were great as well, and the supernatural genre of this anime was greatly shown because of the great visuals.

Overall this anime for me was excellent and very promising. I hope it will have a second season with more than fifty episodes; I just like it that badly.

I like the turn of events, like all of the character has secrets. Like about Shito's immortality, Chika's childhood , Yomi's life, Koyomi's childhood and life etc. LOL love it!

MIchru, a girl who possesses Shinigami eyes, allow her to tel when people will die before they do. Out of kindness for picking up her food, she told two boys, Chika and Shito, they weer going to die soon. It turns out they weren't, they already died at teh bus accident few months ago. They are zombies, and paying off debts so they can live again by killing zombies that just wants to eat humans. They made a deal to bring Micheru back to live because of her shinigami eyes can spot zombies. HOw is she going to deal with this? Chika, who's energetic, bossy while Shito is cold, and emotionless, teh complere opposite of each other and they don't get along. Alont the story, there will be comedy, horror, action, and secrets will be exposed. This is one of the best animes in teh world.

For those who favor the "good zombies" this manga/anime is perfect for you!
Unlike the stero typical zombies, Michiru, Shito, and Chika...along with my favorite, Yuuta, are part of Z-Loan... where the good zombies go!
While killing off the bad zombies.....Michiru, Shito, and Chika earn money, which means that soon, when they pay off their debt, they will be alive once again....but it's not easy defeating those zombies....it requires strength, courage, and....GETTING HURT!
Their adventures have a lot of gore and for the truth, comedy...........

So grab some Fanta and enjoy the show!

This anime is absoulely great!!

What is great about this anime is that thier is fights! They swich hands like nothing!

It has comedy in it!! It is so funny!!!!!! the manga is still ongoing but is still good!!!

zombie loan ,i've watched this 2 years ago and i say i love it, i'm not much into gory stuff
but hey it works out for me this time; i like the funny bits in here and the friendship aspect.
tho I'm not too keen with the music ..i'd say you would enjoy this as much as i do.

This will be my first anime review.

Zombie-loan is an 11 episode anime with 2 OVA tie in with it. First released back in July 2007 and finished in September of the same year. The anime involves mainly fights against illegal zombies, a bit of comedy and of course the supernatural.

The main character is a young girl Kita Michiru which has the shinigami eyes, which enable her to see the rings of death around people's necks when they are about to die. To avoid using this gift she uses glasses. Her life changes when meeting two people with black rings around their neck and didn't die, who are two undead zombies Chika Akatsuki and Shito Tachibana.

Most of the episodes consist of fighting these illegal zombies to gain money. Both Chika and Shito don't really get along, seeing their appearance and personality gives you the answer. They are to say always together since their right hands are exchange and to summon their weapon they need to exchange hands. If they are far away these rot.

In the end Zombie-Loan turned out to be a really great anime despite being shorter than the usual 12 to 13 anime episodes. The ending of the OVA leaves you hanging, but that aside the story is brilliant and it's more than worth watching.

The series is really great because it is full of adventures and the characters are cute=^_^=
I would like to recommend it to all because it has no any ecchi scenes.

you know when your bored with nothing to do this is the anime for you. it gives you something new to read. if your triedof the chick flicks and drama, or even the books about games. if your into goury movies and spirts you should read this or if not try to watch it
