For any fans of the first series xxxHOLiC, you probably happy that this series got a second season.

I know I was.

What didn't make me all to happy about it's first season was how closely it didn't relate to the manga; of course, with TRC so heavily involved in the first half of the manga, the storyline of xxxHOLiC was changed.

What I liked about this season was that unlike it's first season counterpart, it followed the manga quite closely.

What I didn't like is that the manga is still on-going and the anime is not.
