Need to waste time? This is all it's good for...
Overall the anime was ok. Nothing spectacular.

In the beginning you see that the main character is a bit annoying with his whining. In fact this whining supposedly turns into a different form (of bravery?) where he just yells alot and pretty much emos out on every occasion.

The anime would have been worse if I could have predicted how it would end, but I only guessed part of it which ...

Yepper, It's okay, but I'm not buying it
I'm not a mecha fan but this is a pretty good anime. I have it three stars because it took FOREVER for me to actually even care about the main character, the style of anime drawing is not my favorite, I personally don't go for mecha animes, and my biggest complaint is this anime has to have one of the WORST opening songs EVER!!!! Other than that it was pretty good once you get past the JERK ...

Not too bad, but not an outstanding anime either
Well, this serie is, as my ratings say, decent. It's a mecha-anime, which has alot of action and fighting scenes. The story however, isn't that deep and kinda hard to get for like the first 20 episodes (which is like a whole lot, since this anime only has 24 episodes). The first 20 episodes I watched were like: Yea, it's all cool and stuff, nice battle's, but ... well... I dun't get what the ...

    A Nice Simple Review
Unexpected. In many ways a typical anime but at times very real and very funny. There's plenty of action so you can't be bored. The relationships tended to be very complicated and of course the fate of the world rested in the hands of a teenager who was more mouth than anything else but at least he was sincere. While its not an all time favorite it was worth watching.

Some series seamlessly blend fanservice and drama..
Linebarrels is not one of those series. I'd had high hopes for this series while watching episode one, it had well neat mechs, a refreshingly unbalance/vengeful protagonist , and creepy mysterious enemy to fight. Then Gonzo ruined it by explaining that the only way to get into a mech is to molest a "naked for no legitimate reason" woman in a excessively drawn out transformation sequence. The ...

    In Time he changes....
No Frackin way!! Superior in every aspect!

This one starts with a very hate able, psychologically unbalanced protagonist. I hated the bastard with all my heart. But he grows...and grow he did. The story winds a path that isn't predictable, and doesn't pull punches. The story gets turned on its head several times in the series. Watch it all, and pay close attention.

    The anime style is ...

Good show with twists to get you
The show started off with the main character being a little ... awkward (lol) and rash, with stupid moments happening to him all the time. But fairly quickly it progressed to a more series nature. There were LOTS OF PLOT TWISTS more toward the end, that really kept me guessing. Lots of mecha action, fun to series story line, good character development. If you are looking for a decent show ...

good plot there was plenty of
I enjoyed all the episodes quite original, well presented, all the scenes and settings gave the characters a more believable role which only made every episode closer to the climax more suspenseful and lead me the following conclusion; this series was one of the best I have watched.

    This series is excellent
I loved this series, it had everything. Giant robots from outer space, the unlikely hero chosen by fate, the many, many love interests and, of course, the super-apocalyptic final fight! To those people who said it was difficult to get past Kouichi's 'brat' stage, I say this: Think about what you would do if you had been bullied and pushed down all your life and then, quite literally, awesome ...

    Envy's Linebarrels of Iron Review
First off, I have to say that this show is a diamond in the rough. The first few episodes give it a tacky appearance with the overused bratty main character, but taken to an extreme and obnoxious level, however, if you manage to make it past those first few episodes, you will slowly begin to discover just how great this show is.
Linebarrels of Iron made its way all the way up my comprehensive ...
