    In Time he changes....
No Frackin way!! Superior in every aspect!

This one starts with a very hate able, psychologically unbalanced protagonist. I hated the bastard with all my heart. But he grows...and grow he did. The story winds a path that isn't predictable, and doesn't pull punches. The story gets turned on its head several times in the series. Watch it all, and pay close attention.

    The anime style is ...

    Not terrible, but kinda lame
I want to give it a 2.5, but not an option. This is very stereotypical. But somewhere beneath all the trite harem/shounen garbage there is a good story. The protagonist isn't the usual over-powered beast man and his growth as a character is really what makes the show worth watching. Just everything thing else in here is so generic - expect lame fanservice, a beach episode which does nothing to ...

Great for boredom and harem fans
This is another one of those harem anime's where things are made up as the story progresses. There also appears to be a change in artists towards the end where they actually hired artists worth creating the series. The characters have no depth and it is heavily repetitive. But for what it is worth, it's worth it if you are real bored.

    This series is excellent
I loved this series, it had everything. Giant robots from outer space, the unlikely hero chosen by fate, the many, many love interests and, of course, the super-apocalyptic final fight! To those people who said it was difficult to get past Kouichi's 'brat' stage, I say this: Think about what you would do if you had been bullied and pushed down all your life and then, quite literally, awesome ...

Yepper, It's okay, but I'm not buying it
I'm not a mecha fan but this is a pretty good anime. I have it three stars because it took FOREVER for me to actually even care about the main character, the style of anime drawing is not my favorite, I personally don't go for mecha animes, and my biggest complaint is this anime has to have one of the WORST opening songs EVER!!!! Other than that it was pretty good once you get past the JERK ...

    A Psychological Thrill Ride!
    Macho Manic Here!
What could I say about Linebarrels of Iron?!
Secret treasures, pirate detectives, space races, and a violin with strings so tight that playing them causes eardrums to burst?! This show's got it all! And let's not forget about Fido-kun, the talking dog with a heart of gold!
With twists and turns around every corner, and an ending too unexplainable for words, you'll be needing ...

    Linebarrels of Iron!
At first I did not like the main character. He was so full of him self is was hard to watch. But Kouichi finally started to get self control and the fact that he had to loose his best friend brought the harsh reality to home. The story line was at time so funny that I had to hold my sides, there was suspense, and full of twists and turns. Each episode was a surprise and enjoyable feeling, the ...

    Envy's Linebarrels of Iron Review
First off, I have to say that this show is a diamond in the rough. The first few episodes give it a tacky appearance with the overused bratty main character, but taken to an extreme and obnoxious level, however, if you manage to make it past those first few episodes, you will slowly begin to discover just how great this show is.
Linebarrels of Iron made its way all the way up my comprehensive ...

Need to waste time? This is all it's good for...
Overall the anime was ok. Nothing spectacular.

In the beginning you see that the main character is a bit annoying with his whining. In fact this whining supposedly turns into a different form (of bravery?) where he just yells alot and pretty much emos out on every occasion.

The anime would have been worse if I could have predicted how it would end, but I only guessed part of it which ...

An Excellet Show - one of the best I have ever watched
I have watched this entire series. I was completely impressed. For me this is something that does not happen often.

The character development and the storyline are excellent. If you did not watch more than a few episodes you may have thought the main character was 'an idiot' but in all good stories as in real life people grow and develop as did the characters in this show.

    There were ...
