    Cute, Funny and Awesome!
1st time reviewing an anime lots of improvement in future.

I told my younger sister that I have found a good anime (lie). I went to a website full of anime titles and I chose one from the "F" catagory. I saw this title "Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita and decided to start Episode 1. As the anime goes on, me and my sister has realised how cute the characters are! The main ...

    Support your Locodol Today!
I'll start off by saying this show is seriously underrated. It may not be the best show of the season but for what it does it does it really well. The two main character's Nanako and Yukari are the main reasons to watch this show. While they're supporting cast is great and definitely adds to the dynamic of the show you just can help to enjoy watching the interactions of the two main heroines. ...

So cute, so adorable, so perfect!
    I finished the Series!
LOCODOL IS SUCH AN AMAZING SHOW! Since watching the first episode I've been ridiculously looking forward to every week for a new Locodol episode. It's been keeping me going through some bad times and I love Locodol! The characters, story, and music is all light hearted and wonderful and it manages to cheer you up! Yukari and Nanako are best "friends" (Yukari totally ...

    For a slow paced yet cute anime;
Look no further. Now, this isn't some impressive idol group anime like Love Live! or something depressing and harsh like Wake Up, Girls!; this ball of cuteness is one of those lighthearted, cute, funny, and absolutely adorable yet touching anime.

Basically, you're following the story behind a small group of totally kawaii characters and their struggle to promote their small yet subtle town. ...

Off to a great start (3 episodes in)
    [Some spoilers ahead]

This anime in general just screams out adorable. These two have their own charm and each of them in their own way can be someone that you might know in real life. The fact that they try so hard to please each other is just absolutely adorable, the yuri undertones are very adorable (Nice Wife and Wife reference in episode 3) as well, and just, how these two ...

    Songs From the Heart
Nagarekawa: a quiet, peaceful country town in Japan. Not famous for anything in particular, the town struggles to attract tourists... this is where Kohinata Yukari and Usami Nanya, sorry, Nanako come in. You see, they have been chosen by Oota Mitsugu, Nanako's uncle who is on the city council, to become Nagarekawa's local idols - or locodols - the Nagarekawa Girls.

    Decent, but lacking a finish.
I found this anime to be interesting and calm, relaxing with a decent bit of comedy here and there. Maybe even a hint of yuri, but anyway it was a good anime, nothing spectacular but there was a really good song near the end of the anime that i thought was just fantastic. So therefore ill give this anime 8/10, its decent enough but it really needed a proper finish.

Casual and cute. I don't mind spending time on this.
A true example of getting what you expect from a show without feeling disappointed in the slightest.

Locodol ended up being exactly what I thought it would be: A casual experience filled with characters and interactions that make your lips twitch into a smile almost against your will. There's nothing groundbreaking or surprising about this anime and I believe it's all the better for it. There's ...

    First impressions (3 eps. watched)
I gave Locodol 5/5 because in my opinion it's doing perfectly what I expect from an anime like this. I always expect constant comedy and "feel-good" moments form this type of anime and Locodol has done this perfectly. I also like the small amount of fanservice in this anime for some reason. I'll do a full review once it's over.

I think anyone who wants to have a laugh or just feel good should ...

    This was surprising.
I like simple stories as much as any complex story, and this one was a solid investment. It's no Earth shaking addition to the anime world, but it was funny and light with great characters and an interesting look into Japan's idol culture. A reputation building story that is also a coming-of-age story, this one takes a solid 3 out of 5 stars from me. Might have earned one more if the series had ...
