  • Chief nyanta fails his drug screening
one of the most pressing questions when it comes to this series is DOES CHIEF NYTANA USE A LITTER BOX OR A HUMAN TOILET???

aside from that there is not many questions left to ask besides whether chief nyanta passed his drug test which the answer is no, he did not. Reasonably entertaining anime, not a whole lot going on here. many good times to enjoy with your friends if you watch it with ...

  • This Show proves Glasses are Badass!
Everyone compares this show to SAO, and on the surface they have a lot in common. These characters get trapped in this alternate universe that's base off a game and... Oh wait that's pretty much it...

Anyways, back to Log Horizon (I'm going to call it LH from now on). The show is really interesting! It is unlike other game shows that I have ever seen like SAO and Hack. In this show you have ...

  • Log Horizon compared to SAO
Now I will say that I am an MMORPG gamer. So when I heard SAO was based in an MMORPG I was excited. I watched it an was struck with awe. However then after season 1 ended, I had my first Post-Anime Depression, and went out searching for anime similar to SAO. That is where I found Log Horizon. I love SAO as a compelling anime. However Log Horizon reaches out to actual MMORPG players, with the ...

    Strategy and Fantasy
Back when the series first started, I only watched about halfway through the episode. I thought the plot was slow, but when the 20th episode came out, I got drawn back into the story. It might have been thanks to Kakihara Tetsuya, who plays Rudy, and it also might have been the amazing character designs. I re-watched the first episode in anticipation for the next and ended up waiting for the ...

  • One of the best series of the year!
This is a surprisingly good anime that relies on its fun and interesting cast of characters, and despite it being an anime from 2014 there is in fact little fan service, something that I have been wanting in an anime for too long. One of the best parts of the series is the fact that the protagonist is called the villain in glasses. He is more of a lelouche than a kirito and you love him for it.

  • An Intriguing Anime.
A fresh outlook on MMORPG's with a compelling story line. The antagonists have a considerable depth to them and aren't all cliched. This is among the few modern anime that I actually watch and really look forward to. The soundtrack goes well with genre and isn't overpowering or too plain. Season 2 has been well worth the wait.

If SAO had less emo, it would be Log Horizon
While SAO was purely character focused, Log Horizon is world focus.
SAO was more of a character development story. You pretty much didn't really care about the world, as it wasn't really important to the series. What was important was the Emo-adventures of Kirito and Asuna. All the other characters didn't really matter to the story, except the guy who made that game, and their AI daughter... ...

  • It brought the nerd of me :D
Comparing it to SAO; you respawn when you die with minimal loss, there is no clear goal for the players to achieve, and npc's are the coolest!
Based off Season 1: This is a setup for a rather long story as the players who were locked in the world of a game try to figure out how to 'live' and how to organize themselves in to a cohesive society. The story is based off one player's experiences as he ...

    Just like Sword Art Online
Except not written by twelve year olds. Fanservice and busty heroines drooling over the OP MC is replaced by politics and intrigue, with a weighty network of alliances being formed and evolving at the initiation of our own MC, who is only OP in his ability to think. And that is a skill one can realistically be born with. Animation isn't quite as sleek as other anime, but it holds up nicely in ...

    My Thoughts on Log Horizon
Originally, when I first took a look at Log Horizon, I was in the process of watching SAO. My original thought was that Log Horizon was going to be a rip off, but this was not the case at all. In fact, I found Log Horizon to have more story value than SAO (especially considering SAO's SAO portion seemed too short and shallow). Log Horizon's characters also seem to have more personality and are not ...
