    Sugoi! Sugoi! Sugoi!
I really liked this anime, it was all I wanted from SAO (which turned out to just be a sappy love story)! I don't have much else to say other than I loved it! It has become one of my favorites too! Tetra is so kawaii :3

  • Not just awesome, it's also truly CLEAN!
Good character development, lots of action, romance and it has a very important bonus: It's accually clean.
It's so great to be able to watch an anime without worrying about the dirty stuff most animes like to add. Seriously, this is so clean that I can watch this in front of friends and family without worrying about something perverted poping up. Thank you Log Horizon. Really, thank you.

  • A Magnificent Story Coupled with Great Characters
Warning Minor Spoilers: Log Horizon is by-far the top anime that I have come to watch, and although it may not be as popular as it's 'rival' sword art online; it has it's reasons.

If you are going to watch Log Horizon do not expect to see action every episode; much of the plot is developed through the actions of the characters and through dialogue. But, one of the key factors about Log Horizon ...

  • A deliberate series- strategy and action combined!
Let me start out by saying I genuinely enjoy this series. I found it slow to start and I would not have predicted all of its great qualities from the first few episodes alone. Once I gave it a chance, however, I was quickly swept up by this wonderful series! The characters are all highly original and well thought out, especially Shiroe! The refreshingly strategic protagonist gives the show a ...

  • Not just an MMO story but an exploration of what an MMO word would be like.
This was probably my favourite anime of the seasons it ran in.

Admittedly I'm a fan of anime where people just stand around and talk all the time, so that that as you will.

I really enjoyed how this was as much an exploration of MMO worlds (in a MMO world, how would the various MMOs be contextualized to people who saw this as a natural phenomenon?)

I also really enjoy ensemble casts, and ...

  • A very good anime 8.5/10
Badass main characters and cute bun eating ninja girl assasin's is all it takes to make an awesome anime.
This anime is often compared to Sword Art Online, which Log Horizon clearly smashes. SAO is awful compared to this.
Log Horizon is full of action and never fails to deliver a real mmo feel.

  • Not a bad way to spend some time
I quite like these kinds of shows. The main character is likable and so are the supporting cast. There aren't tons of giant cliffhangers at the end of every season too, which is nice, but there are also plenty of things to explore for future seasons.

  • It would almost have 5 stars!
This is an anime I would highly recommend if it weren't for season 2. I love the strategic, political, and cultural elements explored. Log Horizon may not be as flashy as SAO, but it takes the time to consider what would be the ramifications of gamers being stuck in a game. It's still well worth the watch.

    The Start of a World
Log Horizon is an anime that takes place in modern day. The game Elder Tales becomes a reality for those who were logged in during the Apocalypse, the day when all of the players were transported into the game. Shiroe, the main character, lives in the city of Akihabara. He and his friends want to get used to the world and are trying to help in whatever way possible.

    The play between the ...

  • More Than What it Seems!!!!
Most people tend to see .Hack or SAO first before seeing this anime. I was no different. And in the beginning, they have some similar attributes. However, Log Horizon(LH) really shines with it uncanny storyline and character development. Plus, Shiroe, one of the main characters, plays a support role instead of your usual fighter, wizard, or solo powerful heroine. ...
