    The Sequel of something spectacular
    Short and concise.

I will write a proper review once the season is finished. However, because lot of people seem to be confused or misinformed, I must correct any misleading information.

Lostorage Incited WIXOSS is the sequel to the spectacular two-season series Selector Infected WIXOSS and Selector Spread WIXOSS. I highly recommend going to watch those two before coming here, or at least ...

    Beyond Disappointing
It's hard to know where to even start with this review, but here goes nothing:

    Problem number one:
If you want to make an anime where you just make crap up as you go, don't do it under the guise of a card game which ostensibly has concrete rules. "I win because reasons" is a lot more acceptable when those reasons aren't completely ignoring the most fundamental aspect of what makes a real game ...

Four episodes in and I'm dropping this one. The battles are just so-so, the character development is okay but nothing special, and most importantly I'm finding I'm not invested in what happens to the two protags. At least so far I'm not getting a lot of context for the universe either. Too little time, too many other (better) animes to watch. Meh.

This is not a card anime. Its also not a new one. Here is a spoiler free cliff notes and review
First off like the title not a card game anime nor is there an actual card game for it. Also this is not the first series of anime under the WIXOSS name. There is a first series and a follow up and a movie. I am writing this after seeing only the first episode of THIS current season but i have seen all previous work. EDIT I have now seen the first 7.

Mostly I am writing this so people will have ...

    card game mess anime
this anime makes me want to have therapy because it seems like the two main characters need to have therapy. they are mean and nasty and it hard to feel anything for them. they both seem pathetic and sad. it was hard to watch this. there was no characters that wanted to play the game. one girl speech was so annoying extra slow which seems like a trend in anime which is horrible. all these secrets ...

Bad Writing, Bad Premise - Characters Should Win-Trade
This just isn't very good. The premise of the card game doesn't even make sense nor does it fit into the story. They could have replaced the rule-less and generic "card game" with anything else more relatable (lasertag, mini golf, ping pong, etc) and it probably would have fit in better without changing a single thing about the rest of the story. Instead, the writers decided to use a card game and ...

So So that will make you mad
Wth? is up with anime that totally runes the lives of the characters! Got a nice cover art of two girls, about 3 episodes in I find out this is a soft snuff film about nasty things in the world.

I would totally have not even started this series if the info blurb that they put in it clearly stated.. "Evil guy that destroys the lives of girls and boys in probably one of the most horrible ways! ...

    Strap in for tragedy
    Note: 1st episode review only.
Pros: Animation is excellent (wonderful color and quality), music is decent, acting is better than average, sound is better than average. It's a different spin on the sub-genre.

Cons: The main protagonist isn't very bright and shows no discernable depth which is usually a tell in mediocre stories (more in the spoiler). The plot contains multiple hallmarks ...

  • I just want that four and a half hours of my life back
Look, I can appreciate an anime that is super-dark-and-deep-and-makes-me-want-to-crawl-into-a-hole-for-a-week-while-I-try-to-remember-how-to-go-to-my-happy-place as much as the next guy. But if an anime is going to be that ambitious, it has to be well done. This one's not; it's just bad, all-around bad. The plot is inconsistent. The character's actions are inconsistent. The rules of the ...

  • MY POOR, BLEEDING EARS!!!!!
I liked the show, primarily because I play magic, but watching it with headphones will certainly spell doom for your eardrums. In the second episode, i had to tear out my erbuds because the music suddenly spiked in volume and intensity. other than that and the shaky-at-best plot, nice show m8, but not 8/8 .
