So much better when you know the back story.
It's pretty obvious from the first moments of the first episode that this is a continuation of something, and if you're like me, it's quite possible you haven't seen season one, yet.

After watching the first 5 episodes, the lack of character previous knowledge was bothering me. So, with a simple search, I managed to find season one, the first 12 episodes, on another site. Too bad Crunchyroll ...

Great characters, good comedy, and massive delusions.
Season 1 is a necessary precursor to watching this, but I'll try to catch you up. If you liked Steins; Gate because of Okabe Rintaro, you will likely enjoy this series as well.

This is a story dealing with school kids who have big imaginations that gets them into awkward social situations when people don't humor their grand delusions regarding large conspiracies, secret plots, and super ...

  • Damn you for making me love this series more lol
this show continues from season one, but introduces a new character. And I hate them for that because my allegiance to Rikka was questioned T^T lol this show is the perfect blend of comedy, romance, delusional action, and character development. Basically: WATCH IT lol

  • Wonderful feast for the heart
Just as good as the first season... Possibly better! Wonderful depth of characters, and possibly one of the sweetest, most innocent love-stories I've seen. The characters are so understanding--just all-around good people. If more people were like this in the real world, the world would be a happier place. I've gotta get this on Blu-ray...
Make sure to give this anime a shot--it might look ...

  • Fun and Cute Season2!
This is the second season of Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions. The story, like the first season, is lighthearted. The characters are very fun! The voices are well-suited to the characters and the animation is well made. I feel really bad for one of the characters in this season... I do hope they make a side story about her...

    As Good as Season One
There aren't many shows with amazing first seasons that can keep up the pace. Chunibyo does an admirable job, shifting the focus to cover more of the side characters while still evolving the main relationship as the story progresses. For such a short series (12 episodes), it packs an emotional punch, while still making the viewer laugh with every episode.

    - Chunibyo scenes are top notch
    - Comedy gold that can be measured from a pleasant chuckle to full on laughter
    - a faithful continuation of the story that doesn't ruin the series
    - outro is cute
    - New character is brilliantly utilized, and the conflict that ensues is done nicely

    Cons:
    - Slow paced romance ...

An enjoyable, albeit slightly frustrating, second season
For a show with love as the first word in the title, it isn't handled too well. But that problem is only in this season, since at the end of season one the main character's romance was just beginning. Problem is, there's about a six month time jump between seasons; as well as an OVA brining the gap, which I recommend as a fun Christmas episode. Now that means they've been dating for six months, ...
