Needs to be watched in full to appreciate its true value
At first glance, this series seems to be an inane, gag-filled parody of the magical girl genre featuring fake magical girls who continually embarrass themselves in front of the camera, much to the exasperation of the "straight man" male lead.
Such a description (and the first few episodes) could not be more misleading, however. This show is much more than that: it is about society's ...

    Cutest, anime romance, ever :3
So ive seen my fair share of animes, probably more than five hundred at this point, but this has to have the cutest romance of any of them. Its not even about how much they love each other, but more about how they interact with each other that makes me seriously blush :x lol not to mention the fact that I love EVERY character to the point i really wish it was a harem anime, haha, but still...Rikka ...

How maturity kicks in, and breaks the bounds of a kid.
This series demonstrates how ones grow up from your childhood to adulthood in such a funny yet lovely way. we all grow from being a chunibyo, and sometimes a slice of life or unsuspected things in live slaps us in the face telling you to wake up and realize that it is time to move on. We all experience this in life and the feelings we get when looking back and remembering those moment it is what ...

    Innocent, Adorable, and Funny;
Don't get fooled by the art, in fact, never judge an anime by its cover. Love, Chunibyo, & Other Delusions is the perfect example of an innocent, adolescent intimate relationship and everything around it. I'll tell you straight forward that the main idea of this series is about getting situated with a romantic relationship, with a side struggle of battling chunibyo (middle school sickness). But ...

The feels are real - CUTEST YOUNG LOVE ANIME ROMANCE
I was not expecting to feel. A supernatural yet original take to the romantic comedy genre.

I swear you will fall in love with Rikka all over again with every episode. Visuals are stellar and my god my heart hasn't been ripped out then put back together quite like this before.
Even if you don't go on to watch the second season, this first season is essential for any anime otaku.

    Interesting take on adolescent romance.
I think everyone has a memory that makes them blush, cringe, and want to hide. Some terrible decision from our youth that haunts us well into adulthood. Usually it's something like a really absurd haircut or farting in a crowded room or falling down in front of a lot of people. In this case though, the "middle-schooler syndrome" or "chunibyo" is the cause of embarrassment. A uniquely Japanese ...

    This did the impossible
This made a 20 year old man fangirl over this anime. Yes, it's that good. Watch it. I highly recommend it. I haven't watched this great of an anime in years and I'm absolutely bonkers for this and it's second season. Just too much for me to handle, someone call for help.

Was not what i was expecting
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS

This anime was not what I was expecting. I had been drugged to believe that this was going to be the same quality as all the other anime's that have came out this season but this was totally left field for me.

STORY: The story starts out with our main male character Yuta Togashi. Yuta used to be a Chunibyo. A chunibyo is a person that likes to live ...

A very enjoyable Slice of Life show
Chunibyo begins with the lead male character, Yuta Togashi, looking to move past his middle-school life, where he often escaped reality by adopting the fantasy-based persona 'Dark Flame Master'. However, on the eve of his first day of high school, he has an unusual encounter with the girl who lives in the apartment above his: the eyepatch-wearing 'Wicked Lord Shingan', aka Rikka Takanashi, a ...

Chuuniyou demo Koi ga shitai! (Season 1)
I'm going to start out by saying that I rarely like an anime enough to rewatch it.

And I've rewatched Chuunibyou three times since I watched it for the first time in September.

Chuunibyou is the story of First Year High School Student Togashi Yuuta, who is a former sufferer of "Chuunibyou" (Literally "Middle School 2nd Year Disease"). Embarrassed by his past, he decides to attend a school ...
