Its a lot like life, it doesn't follow a "plot" or have "story arcs" it just happens and is reminiscent my own stupid conversations with friends which is why I love it. (I'm like Konata completely except for being good at sports! xD)

"Lucky Star" is definitely a different kind of anime. Not bad, just unique. I like the character designs but I'm not sure if I can really pursue the series. I'll keep watching...
