Nah, magus wasn't weak, plus, with him u could use triple tech: Omega Flare, Dark Eternal. those 2 techs were damn good.

The one thing that only got on my nerves about Magus when I was playing the game...that guy was hard core..when I fighting against him. He gets on my team...He sucks...(>_>) grr....(hardcore when he alone)....When he teaming up with you he a weak...-blah-

In one of the endings you see Frog going against Magus...then you see a shadow with a cloak (they both have cloak DU'H!) in the higest part of the castle...i wonder who won.... and yeah, magus just wanted to save her sister by killing Lavos
