You'll see that Athos is actually Erk, and Nergal is actually Canas. You can upgrade them from Sage and Druid to Archsage and Dark Druid. *CONTAINS SPOILERS* 1. For an Archsage and Dark Druid you have to beat the game once 2. The second time playing, you have to have done at least 2 Krishuna side quests 3. When defeating Nergal, defeat him with either Erk, or Canas 4. With Erk, there will be a short cutscene where Nergal says something like, "you want to surpass your teacher don't you? I can give you power at a price". And with Canas, he will say something like "Your grandmother, she was a great Druid, you have her powers flowing through you.I can give you power at a price". 5. When Nergal said at a price, he meant that the Fire Dragon would be summonend, and either Erk or Canas has to land the finishing blow ... more
