There are a lot of discrepancies here, including why his Dad didn't turn off the PC. If he did turn it off, Ken wouldn't be able to come back to his room.

does anyone notice that from 9:36 to 9:39 the shine in Ken's eyes fade, and from this point on until Ep. 21, his eyes are smaller and have no shine in them, making him look meaner

I love Ken now! I used to hate him 8 years ago, until I saw this eppie. Then I started loving him. Then I saw thhe beginning episodes again, and I started hating him again. Then, after I saw this eppie again, I'm starting to love him again!
