It sucks that squall doesn't have a O,O, square move its unfair!! Cloud is really buff as always... I'm still sticking to squall.

in all the ff games i'v played squall have the most powerful looking skills out of all, the 1st move he get's is already a 10-15 hit combo so why wouldn't he win cloud

Squall's Limit break is one of the easiest to perfect in the game and still you miss the trigger. But still nice video...

Though I agree Cloud is somewhat one of the better characters of the game, Squall can be too when in the hands of someone good enough. Both of them at level 100 with equal equipment are quite equal.

First of all, nice comeback. Secondly, though most of the higher levels do have insanely good guarding ability, they do still have openings like when they do hp attacks. Lastly, Squall isn't that bad of a character when compared to Cloud.

Well the second air attack is only good if I'm close by. I usually hit and run away since I hate sticking so close to a comp that keeps guarding.

Also, when in the air, use the second air attack you get. It's delay is shorter, so Cloud can't just dodge it like its nothing.

try fighting a lvl 105 cloud with squall --;; It's easy if you're good at watching at a distance. Lvl 105 wasn't fair. 600ish hp dmg with limitbreak XP and he can kill you with break you with just one combo doing 2k dmg with normal attacks.

That was a really close match. Squall was fighting a losing battle the entire match it seemed.

i prefer cloud skills over to squall to. but i am more of a squall den cloud in my game. tina is sick. i think that onion knight is good too

Cloud is better than squall overall. I consider any character with a brave->hp chain a mid tier or higher character. Except for Tina and her gay tornado. I've seen idiots just spam the tornado non-stop thinking they won't get hurt.

Also against comps, squall is pretty much at a disadvantage when it comes to meleeing. Max level comps have a guard rate of near 100 percent. Hit and run plays on the idea of dodge, attack, run. True combat is guarding and attacking.

If you noticed my squall does pea damage on normal hits to Cloud bcos I'm using a crappy weapon. Most equips I get from recipes and ghost cards. Attacking normally is suicide as squall doesn't have any superarmor moves.

One more thing, why did you turn the targeting system off at the start? You should cut down on Ariel Circle and Blasting Zone spams. I agree they're good, but only as follow ups and counters.

What settings did you have on Squall and Cloud? I put the com on extremely strong. How do you unlock Squall's lvl 100 equips? stuck on 72 sword and 50 under armors T-T

I uploaded a vid of a me using cloud with guard counters, but CR takes forever to approve videos. Cloud also started with superior equipments (does about 2x to 3x my brave damage per hit). Had to use +HP accessories.

nice...and Cloud had exactly 9999 hp...but that 2nd...ex? attack wasn't really necessary..do you not like cloud or something..CLOUD SHOULD OF WON!!!

Another hit and run technique. Against comp players, initiating a brave attack is suicide since they have a near 100 percent guard rate. Squall is also not a counter type but a combo initiator. He also makes one of the best hit and run.
