    "Gecko endings" as TVtropes puts it... A shame, considering i how much i LOVE this series. The manga has a weird visual style that sort of puts me off, but i'm determined to read it now. Just gotta... Y'now... Find it...

    The ending was sudden indeed. My take on the reason why might mirror Dragon Ball GT, Zatch Bell, and Big O. GT was horrendous, Zatch Bell lacked all but comedy, and Big O was too much like Mazinger Z. At least the series had an ending.

    that was an awful ending. as if the creators didnt have time to make an actual ending. too much questions i still need clarified. like shinnosuke, the #1 guy, how'd she survive, everything. ugh
