It's like reverse Neon Genesis Evangelion...unstead of a wimp not wanting to pilot a mech; we have one who wants that power and gets drunk off it...and see how he grows from that. Pretty cool series...

kind of disappointed to be honest. i expected that the ending would be more... sad... it seems out of place that the main character gets killed episode 1, but they let him live with all his friends at the end and be the hero of the world..
