Kusanagi arrives in Akihabara on a mission to investigate the secret deal of a nano-computer which is suspected to have some link to the recent carbon market disruptions. Kuniko and Momoko are rudely interrupted by Kusanagi during their graphite trading. When Kuniko hacks into the local surveillance system to monitor Kusanagi's activities with the help of the three old men, she encounters a virtual figure of Karin, who is also spying on the information about the nano-computer.
