  • adult anime version of cinderella
the plot is stupid. two girls trying to find a man that doesn't want them so they can be in his life while he is literally running away from them. The ending is also stupid. that being said there are so many sad stories to be told in this anime the colors music and animation are amazing and the mood you will feel if you watch this is one I can't describe. This show is literally the adult anime ...

    One Of My New Favorites!!!
So in short, this anime is about a runaway prison mate, Michiko, who kidnaps an orphaned little girl named Hatchin. Together they go on a quest to find Hatchin's biological father and Michiko's ex-lover. Together they form a very unique and chaotic duo that often find themselves in a tight pinch, often facing life and death. This anime can be pretty deep and graphic at times, but is definitely all ...

  • The Story I Didn't Know I Needed
I was hesitant to give this anime a chance at first, but something about the writing kept me hooked. After watching the whole thing, this show really is something special that I'll remember for awhile.

Character development is one of this shows strongest points. Give it a shot.

Just finally finishing an anime almost a decade later...
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this anime so much 8 years ago that I could not stop waiting for it to come out one-by-one. I finally got back to finishing this fine piece of art, and boy does it make other anime's over the last few years look horrible. The anime art, music, script, characters, are all done creatively. I just love this freaking anime it's so good, watch it.

  • Masterpiece and one of its kind.
This is a surprising anime that came from second golden age of the anime. Produced by Manglobe (the studio behind Samurai Shampoo, Ergo Proxy, Samurai Flamenco, etc.), this is one of their masterpieces.

The animation is top-notch. The soundtrack is really well done and fit the context. The scenario has its flaws (such as fillers episodes), but you could also say that those flaws makes it even ...

    A Guilty Pleasure...
As a half black, half asian woman it's hard not to notice that anime often takes full advantage of racial stereotypes when it comes to African Americans...This show is no exception...but it's still amazing. A part of me wishes it wasn't as stylistically savvy and well written and apart of me is happy for it lol. Touche Michiko & Hatchin.

The art as they traveled through the story I though was great.. If you have the chance watch this show i'm pretty sure you will enjoy! I'm am not sure why it did not get much publicity, I am not familer with that side of the industry.

  • An Absolutely Delightful Journey Through (what looks like) Brazil
I first came across this show on Toonami and soon after watching it it quickly became one of my favorites. Everything from the characters, setting, music, animation, and plots makes this show a joy to watch through. The title characters have a very nice dynamic going for them that keeps me invested in their journey and development throughout the course of the series' 22 episodes.

    My only real ...

    Cinderella Saves the Fairy Godmother
Michiko and Hatchin! It's a classy, relaxing, comedic, and heart-warming fairy tale for the modern world. Michiko is a free-wheeling and selfish fairy godmother; Hatchin is a spunky Cinderella. Together, they get in a lot of trouble, have some fights, try to understand each other better, and basically just charm you into loving the pair of them. I watched it somewhere else a few years ago, and it ...
