    Faith in MSG restored.
    As of episode 2.

This is what I've wanted in a Gundam anime since 08th MS Team. I'm really excited to see the show take pages from the past for the new series. Everything in episode one resonated with me, from the art direction to the plot it hit the nostalgia button in me reminding me of the early to mid 90s anime. I can't wait to see more.

    *Edit 1
I got a chance to watch this on the ...

MC has no chill towards his enemies
✔ Bad-ass MC (He has no chill)
✔ Useful Heroine (She has character development)
✔ Love triangle for those who like a tiny bitsy of that
✔ You dont know who is gonna die, so you get easily emotionally attached
✔ Plot contains a well proportioned mix of fights, character development and politics (which slows down the pace)
✔ Second season on the way!
✔ Gurren Lagann vibe from it. If you are a ...

    Done Right This Time!!!
Yes folks...yes, the time has come where a properly done MSG is here. Since the original I have always felt like they were trying too hard (with a few exceptions) and the characters were not portrayed quite right. Mika is brilliantly done and Orga is stellar (and the badass that he is!!) They both are captured perfectly and the dynamic between them is astounding - albeit a bit subtle at ...

But was it better than Wing or Unicorn?
    In short: yes.

This was quite possibly the best Gundam series made to date. To get the basics out of the way, the animation was superb and the characters were well-developed. They showed blood when blood would exist in scenes. There were no infallible heroes. Everyone was flawed in very human ways, and every character fits a purpose. There is no unnecessary development that doesn't contribute ...

    An Incredible Budding Series
Iron Blooded Orphans isn't just a great Mobile Suit Gundam series, its an incredible show by any standard. It has perfect pacing that shares the spotlight across a diverse and dynamic cast of characters. In particular, the heroes Mikazuki and Orga are complex characters that force you to consider the morality of their actions while maintaing a palpable aura of coolness. Despite challenging the ...

    About Princesses, Iron and Blood
This is coming from a guy who neither had interest in a lot of the classical gundams nor is an expert on mecha. But the characters presented here are steps above the usual gundam series that I've come across.

Wing made me genuinely believe that gundam fans were idiots. That's mean to say, but it's true, it's how I felt. In fact most gundam's I've seen can't seem to decide what they want to ...

Fantastic entry for Gundam fans, Great start for newcomers!
I am an old Gundam fan. My introduction to the series was Gundam Wing, thanks to Toonami. I love Wing due to the intense fights, multifaceted political story and deep, enticing characters. Aside from 08th MS Team, Wing was the only intense Gundam series that I had fell in love with. Iron-Blooded Orphans rekindled my love for Gundam. Let me tell you now that IBO is not for the faint of the heart ...

This series is definitely one of my favorite animes so far!
I'm definitely loving Iron-Blooded Orphans so far. The focus ISN'T JUST ON THE GUNDAMS! I'm not saying I don't love mobile suit battles, but the fact that there's a greater emphasis on the characters within the plot (compared to other Gundam series) is great. To me, the focus on the characters makes the battles all the more epic. I can go on and on, but to sum it all up, I love how different this ...

Great new MSG, also Biscuit is my hero
I can already tell this is going to be a great MSG addition. I've kind've lost a little faith in the series, but this seems to put it right back in line with what I expect. Gritty mech fights and lots of bad-assery to be had. If AGE didn't do it for you, and you're still a MSG fan, then you best be checkin in on this train.

P.S. I know nothing about how the story will progress but Biscuit is ...

I can't understand some of you people
This show was phenomenal. Hands down my favorite Gundam series and one of my favorite animes overall. For those who question the character development from one season to the next, I don't think they really have a grasp on subtle storytelling. Mikazuki doesn't flourish overnight and his character develops in a symbiotic way with his mobile suit. He is not your prototypical dynamic character. Those ...
