That's because the Guntank wasn't designed for space warfare. If you want to go that far, Tzukasa7, why use a humanoid unit for space warfare? A purely spherical machine with evenly distributed gunports and drives would be superior.

I was never born when this was made. But this is has captured my attention more than a majority of anime out there. The first episode was a superior first episode than Wing, it set the scene pefectly.

All of the Gundam Series that take place in the Universal Century were fairly good. Other than that G Gundam and Wing were good, anything else is feh at best.
