Regardless, if you compare MSZ Gundam to MS Gundam, there is still a remarkable improvement done in relation to the drawing quality. I'll say this is a beautiful looking piece of art. (MS Gundam was as well, but just not all that refined.)

Who cares which one's a little bit better or worse than the other. They're both gundam, which means they're better than the rest. I'm just so happy this series is subbed and not dubbed!
