One of the most consistent and GOOD animes I've ever seen.
I usually refuse to post a review or comment on any anime that I've watched, but after I finished this show, I have repeatedly reminded myself "I should really post a review telling people how good this anime is!"
I'm not going to write you a synopsis of the anime. I am going to tell you how it was completely different from what I expected, but in a wonderful way.
I have seen my fair share of ...

    The bonds they forge

She cares for Chagum as her own child and teaches him courage and strength. He, too, develops a connection the her. This bond becomes stronger than, but not more important, than his bond with his mother. His ...

    Fantastic and engaging.
It's been a while since I've seen Seirei no Moribito (http://myanimelist.net/anime/1827/Seirei_no_Moribito), but I must say that it's one of the few shows that have stuck with me for a long time.

Again, it has been a while since I've seen this show, but I just noticed it here on Crunchyroll for the first time and I thought it only seemed fair to give praise to such an amazing ...

    Comparable to a Ghibli film
When I caught the first episode on TV the first thing that came to mind was "this is so wonderfully animated it looks like a Ghibli film"
This anime is severely underrated and needs more love!!!
The music, characters, animation and story are all just wonderful. The show is a just a teensy bit slow at some points (there is a bit of "normal day to day life" admits the otherwise urgent and ...

    Maybe the Best Story Ever
Where to begin? While there is no such thing as a perfect story, Guardian (Moribito) comes so close that the distinction isn't worth mentioning. It takes, what could have been, stereotypical characters and situations and uses them in a way that's full of depth, emotion, and originality. Even those who are not Anime fans can still watch this, become engrossed, and come away feeling like it was a ...

  • Draws you into thier world
I have to say that I was hooked by the end the of 2nd episode, it really draws you in and makes you want to keep watching. I found myself watching them non stop and was wishing they could on. There are lot of elements that draw the cast together, enemy's one year and allies the next, and it always good to see star readers in Anime.

    Beautifully done environmental metaphor
This story includes a deep message about preparing for a serious crisis with a long timespan. It deals well with two very different cultures who share the same land, and have somewhat different ways of looking at their relationship to it. The story is complex and believable, with careful plotting and excellent characterization. As is often the case in Anime, even the 'villain' characters are ...
