    Truly Beautiful Animation
Seirei no Moribito is one of the few anime that does fight scenes well. the animation is crisp and the movement of the characters are fluid. It is a pleasure to watch, and the overall story is pretty good too. One of the best anime series since Cowboy Bebop, and that means quite a lot coming from me.

    Surprise Finding Check It Out!
Had never heard of it and picked it at random. After just one or two episodes I was sitting up in my seat thinking, "Man this show is great!" By the time it was over I was actually sad that there wasn't more.

    Beautiful in every aspect
There's really nothing else quite like this out there; the characters and storyline are exquisitely crafted, and the world they inhabit is a stunning mixture of the natural and the mythical. The original story was written by an anthropologist, and it shows; the people who inhabit this world are eminently suited to it, with each variation in cultures stemming from geography and the quasi-mythical ...

Great show, good story, strong characters
If your looking for fan service then this is NOT the show you want to watch. This show does not use or need fan service to keep you interested!

The story itself is interesting and well thought out. The world the story is set in is fascinating and rich. I found the main heroin a strong and attractive woman of few words. The characters are well drawn and written. Combat is fast, furious and ...

An exceptional anime among a sea of mediocrity...
This seemed like a very boring anime when I first started watching it. I quickly renounced that statement as I got further into the story and became engrossed in it. Moribito isnt what you would call an overly flashy or dramatic like the standard seems to be these days. It blends story and action very well but manages to maintain a tasteful and mature demeanor the entire time. This anime does what ...

    exelent writing deep chars
with excellent character development and great writing i really enjoined this series. at first, it is difficult to understand the world and that it is not earth, not to mention how the kingdom works - but it is explained in time and its cool how the ideas unfold to explain all the things that are not fully understood right off the bat. it does start out fairly slow but the plot development is ...

Interesting view of old Japan with twist
If you enjoy Anime shows that portray the more traditional Japan with a twist you will love this. The animation is beautiful and the characters are interesting and easy to get attached to. There isn't a large number of episodes either so viewers that prefer shorter animes like myself will also enjoy this.

  • Beautiful and great story line
Moribito is beautiful in both it's animation and it's story. I highly recommend it to anyone. It's got a god mix of action as well as a look at what traditional life was. Overall I loved it!! Take a look and you won't regret it.

  • Very reminiscent of old Samurai flicks
This series is well balanced. To me this seems more like an epic movie. It is more focused on the sword play while the aspects of magic and spells are there it doesn't over shadow the action. The episodes progress slowly but with enough character building and great plot its well worth waiting for the episodes at the very last. That's why I compare it to an old Samurai click cause if you just wait ...
