For a tiny niche of ramen otaku?
This anime is about what it says it's about. And not much else. Drawing and animation quality is decent. The characters all follow well established archetypes, primarily following Koizumi (the antisocial ramen otaku), and her tomboy classmate who has a crush on her and refuses to be daunted by her rejection.

I could see this anime working for someone who is really passionate about ramen. I ...

light, funny, and informative niche anime
In the growing genre of anime about specific subjects (ramen, in this case), this one is very informative and seems to have a light and humorous group of characters. I like the change of pace of the genre - I watch it when I'm in the mood to learn something specific, and it is much more entertaining than some pompous cooking show.

    Flat story that encourages creepery
I’m fond of various cooking and eating anime, but this one fell very, very flat to me. Koizumi-san enjoys her ramen, and she can discuss the topic in depth when asked about it. That’s the best part of the entire first episode. It’s the sole redeeming quality in the storyline.

Koizumi-san being the crush object of one of her classmates in her new school, a girl who refuses to take No for ...

First episode of "Stalking a Pretty Girl Who Likes Ramen"
It's only the first episode, but for me, I can already tell that I wont really like watching this anime. I've watched a lot of slice of life and food anime series, like "Love is Like a Cocktail" or "Wakako-zake", and this anime seems to be similar, but I feel like the plot is just driven the wrong way. The story is lead by having a girl who is clearly stalking Koizumi, for the sole fact that she ...

The scalding end of my soul.
    "Anime was a Mistake"
    -Hayao Miyazaki

Do you like watching paint dry??? Is grass growing too exciting for you??? Well then I have the show for you!!!
This is the least entertaining piece of drivel that has passed my eyes in years. The characters are so deep i hit the bottom of the pool before stepping in it. I literally fell asleep during this show. What is my life now, who am I now? I can ...

Ramen > Comedy (Episode 1 review)
This anime doesn't really deserve so many bad reviews. if you could enjoy an anime mostly about ramen give it a try"
The anime's focus seems to be mostly on the subject of ramen. I assume the character dynamic between Yuu and Koizumi being so one note in this episode, and with the lack of comedy is why people already disliking this anime.

Not sure why people are complaining so much
I don't think the people writing the negative reviews for this show are necessarily the target audience. It's a cute show with a light yuri-ish plot that gives interesting information about different styles of ramen. If you like cooking or food shows and stories about lesbian crushes it's pretty good for a quick watch. It gave me more or less exactly what I expected, so if you're looking for ...

  • Four Girls, One Ramen.
Some people might have been put off by the stalker behavior in the first episode. But I don't think I'll be dismissing the show for that reason alone. While only two episodes are available to us on Crunchyroll I don't see the series getting much creepier than episode one. ( But considering the fact that I somehow made it through Oreimo and Eromanga Sensei creep factor isn't an issue for me.) ...

In the End, YOUR OPINIONS DO NOT MATTER
I like it, but then, I like shoujo-ai, slice of life, food related anime. Anime has so many different genres that there will always be someone who enjoys the show. So ignore all the star ratings. If the artwork looks nice and the premise seems interesting, give it a chance. Watch up to 3 episodes and then decide if its right for you. Some anime have slow starts or go ecchi to get your ...
