My Review of "Nichigou/My Ordiany Life"
Nichijou (日常 Nichijō?, lit. Regular Life), or know as "My Ordinary Life" in English. This is a anime adaption based on manga written by Keiichi Arawi first published in 2006 by "Kodokawa Shoten" in their manga magazine "Shonen Ace". The manga is a simple 4 panel comic like Azumanga Daioh or Lucky Star so you can already guess what the anime is going to be like, yep a slice of life/comedy ...

  • My Stomach aches from laughter.
I watched this anime all within just a few days. Best and worst idea i've ever had. The amount of laughter that was sustained throughout the anime was at a constant high. There are many animes i like better than watching this, but if i were to rate it amongst only animes with comedy and slap stick humor, i would rate it number one. Among friends i shared it to, it was a mixed feeling. Some ...

    Greatest Comedy Ever
A complete comedic masterpiece with some of the best animation around. If you love absurdest comedy, this is the one. The over-the-top moments contrasted with the mundane of your typical slice-of-life is just unbeatable.

'Tis a sad day that we lose such a gem. The high cost of the amazing animation and poor DVD sales in Japan pretty much assures we're unlikely to see such quality in this kind ...

I'm going to be blunt, I fanboy hard over this show.
Yep, 10/10, 100/100, best show best show...

All joking aside, my near religious love for this show stems from how relate able the characters are, and how their actions really do remind me of everyday life. You're really not going to get a solid review out of me, I'll do nothing but hype it up hard. It may not be your cup of tea, but I believe that most people will love ...

  • Nichijou is amazing!
I find nichijou quite hilarious especially for a comedy slice of life anime. The manga is in the 4-koma style, which would explain the reasoning for the shorts in the episodes. Since there is a slight story line to it, i find it easy to follow, and being able to skip around to the different shorts without knowing previous backstory. Overall - hilarious!

Remember when comedy didn't have to be vulgar?
Writing is a difficult task, writing comedy even more so. When it comes to what is considered funny, just like what is considered scary, is extremely subjective. Problem is, when writing comedy people can't see outside their own perspectives, and just make what they consider funny. This series is able to get past that problem by delving into many different types of comedy without pandering. That ...

    Beautiful, satisfying, wtf.
This anime as the most colorful characters, the most imaginative short stories, the craziest plot lines, it as everything, it made me laugh, it made me cry, it gave me chills, made my wtf is going on meter go real high, I was so happy watching nichijou and I was so sad when it ended, I wish it would have lasted longer, but I will always remember and never regret watching this, a must watch for any ...

  • You'll laugh, you'll cry.
My Ordinary Life, aka Nichijou, is a fantastic and absurd slice of life comedy that straddles the line between absurd and mundane, such as the more ridiculous skits being with the trio of high school girls, Mio, Yukko, and Mai, and the more mundane skits being the trio of the young Professor, her robot Nano, and their talking cat Sakamoto. Despite this however they characters feel very relatable ...

  • One of my favorites.
If you dont have time to watch this beauty then watching clips of the show on youtube is just as great. The show is based on a panel comic so there isn't a heavy plot. The animation is amazing and it gets better on the second season. So many wonderful memories.

  • Acid Trip for the Whole Family!
This show is basically one of the best things ever. It has so many moments that'll be funnily (is that a word?) confusing, surprising, and generally entertaining. It's a great show overall. If you wonder why I put that as the title, the show is so rapid paced and comedic you won't be able to catch up sometimes! I'd definitely recommend it for children, teenagers, and adults (maybe not the elderly, ...
