  • Yahtzee-styled review
Imagine having an ordinary teenage life but add people with lots of uncommon differences as the ones living in the town or city where you live, like a Hungarian with a poorly translated phrasebook as your teacher and a rich boy wearing a suit and a monocle riding his horse to school, and even having the horse INSIDE the classroom. That's almost exactly what Nichijou is like, an anime with ...

  • ~My Ordinary Review~
Definitely a new favorite of mine, and a real gem! So sad that it ended so shortly, but I feel like I'll find myself re watching this series many times. You will not regret watching this show, it has many random, spontaneous moments to keep you entertained.

  • Laughed so hard people stared at me.
This show is just AMAZING. I started watching this show on my phone and vita at school between classes and was just blown away by how funny it is. It's like a funny cake with layers of sweet and emotional icing that is being eaten by the professor as we SPEAK. I like the flow of the show and how there isn't a central story(However, things do carry over from different episodes and tie in). A must ...

  • Awesome watch for a dinner party
This is one of the best "Just for fun" anime's I've seen in awhile. No real story line to be had and some jokes are kinda inside jokes as if you're not from Japan you really won't get it although they don't ruin the flow of the show. But the show is so FUCKING ADORABLE it doesn't matter as the situations, character interactions and yells of anguish are as entertaining as a monkey boxing match. ...

    This anime was... interesting...
This anime was kinda boring at first, but then later in the anime it was more interesting than before. It was pretty funny and Sakamoto is sooo cute! >< The openings were cute and I love how " weird" it was. Weird in a good way, like different. Meh, I'm pretty bad at reviews so I dunno what to write anymore.

  • Watch this show now.
I just finished watching this, and it is AMAZING. I want to re-watch the whole thing again. It is, at some points(okay, a lot of points), obscenely cute, and once or twice simply obscene. Whether or not that is a good thing doesn't matter, because IT IS TOO AMAZING.

  • Above and Beyond the Ordinary
My Ordinary Life (or "nichijou") is a fantastic show; it is brilliant in its execution of comedy, animation, and ordinary life. It is primarily a comedy, yet it shines in its solid, varied execution of top-notch animation and artistry. I don't think I've ever seen such a diverse array of artistic techniques used in an anime before, and I have never seen a slice of life or comedy with as high an ...

    Absolutely one of my favorites
I first came across Nichijou/My Ordinary Life in a very roundabout way, having somehow overlooked it when it first aired in 2011. So thanks to that random comment under that random story on that random blog, I found and fell for Nichijou. It has such a relentlessly fun energy, great characters, and a surprising amount of heart to balance everything out. I'll admit that it took me an episode or so ...

  • Astounding enough to become anything but ordinary
This anime is a terrific blend of happiness and quirk. There are a lot of unusual situations that can most often be described as whimsical or heartwarming, but overall amusing. The array of characters provides roles fit for the series' environment and even get their spotlight more than once in a while. For a comedy, it surprisingly uses little to no reference material, let alone typical attributes ...

  • Definitely going to Rewatch This Series Again!! :D
This is an excellent example of pure innocent comedy at its finest. Usually many of the mainstream comedy shows revolve around "ecchi" situations. Watching this felt extremely refreshing, and YES how can we forget about the occasional or if not always apparent "moe" scenes. But you can't really help it when its Kyoto Animation, I have yet to ever see them fail at creating freakishly adorable ...
