  • Best MC this year hands down
The MC is very believable and the show does exactly what it tries to do by being funny but at the same time having great monologues by hachiman that really drive the point home. Hopefully they renew to have another season!

  • Everyday Fun puts a smile on your face
I was skeptical about watching this anime for there really didn't seem to be anything to it at all. After giving it a try I decided that the 13 episode run was not bad so mind as well finish it.

Needless to say I really enjoyed watching this anime, it runs really slow so there ended up really being not much to it but that was the enjoyable part. This was an anime that name truly describes what ...

    A very relatable character
This is my very first review on crunchyroll. Partially because I was too lazy to write reviews for other shows, but also because this anime struck a chord in my heart. Hikigaya Hachiman often reflects on his life and his relationships with others. I have a similar negative mindset as he does, thinking that "they're only being nice to me" or "they wouldn't want to be my friend" etc. By letting me ...

    Fun, slightly different, but safe
While not pushing any boundaries this show is a lot of fun. The characters are slight twists on standard arch types for the genre, much like the show is a slight twist on the genre. It fits together and delivers. You know what you are getting into and you will enjoy it.

I have my pride as an outcast...
You can take being ignored as a ball-and-chain, grounding you in place, or you can pick it up and run to the next level of solitude. There is pride in being invisible and nothing but disappointment when you socialize with others. What happens after years of living this life? You become a professional.
That is exactly what this school's "Wish granting" club needs to help out the student body. ...

Oregairu is Great, Hachiman for President
To be honest to me, it's another average to good anime. That is when you don't account for the awesomeness of the main character Hachiman. This MC just makes this show 20 times better than it should be, at least it feels that way for me.

Solid 9.5/10 thanks to Hikigaya Hachiman.

A teen romcom with more substance than expected
I came into this show expecting a parody/homage of the high school love story genre. I was surprised that the show actually had more going on. The female leads of course follow a general outline set by tropes, but the male lead, Hachiman Hikigaya, was very entertaining. He is intelligent, knowledgeable of his weaknesses, often blunt, a master of reading the mood and people, and of course ...

  • Smart, Funny, Wierd, Not Your Sisters Romantic Comedy
You could call this a romantic comedy, however its definitely not A typical of the genre, this one is a bit more relateable to actual humans. The characters are distict and varied, though its the banter and the positively crazy internal (and sometimes accidentally external) dialog of the protagonist that makes this one very entertaining tale. Its all at once odd, charming, sweet, and somehow ...
