A refreshing take on the Rom com genre.
Trying to take the typical approach to the Rom com genres this anime actually doesn't go that in depth with the actual romance, but it worked well and the anime was a solid watch. To be honest I always hate the idea of a stand alone Rom com anime due to the fact that there are never any interesting characters, or character development for that matter, but this anime surprised me with its tone, it ...

  • Fantasic show. Great dialogue and character interactions
Let me preface by saying this show isn't for everyone. It tells a story about loners helping people and learning about themselves and each other in the process. There isn't much of a story arc and the character development comes at a leisurely pace.

That being said, this series is all about unique characters and the dialogue between them. Each character is complex and at their cores they all ...

    Romantic Comedy Done Right
Despite the series' low popularity, "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU" really caught me by surprise. I didn't expect this anime to be so enjoyable to watch, and expected it to all be over by the time the season ended. Thankfully, there is another season coming out and I can't wait for it. Why am I so hyped-up about this show? Let me tell you why.

The story evolves around a lone-wolf kind of ...

PDR Reviews // My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU is the 10th anime I've fully watched. I found myself hungry for more anime after catching up with all the Kill La Kill episodes, so I browsed around Crunchyroll for something to watch. I was in the mood for some light heartedness - a change of pace from the heavy action in KLK. I saw that My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU's thumbnail featured two cute girls, so it was ...

    Five stars because it's unique
It seems that today anime have staring with Moe things for appeal for the audience, indeed the fan service is everywhere except here.

This anime put us in a situation that any mature anime critic could have been. The protagonist is indeed antisocial but he still critic all the aspect of society in his point of view that many of us don’t see. He is a little too far with critics but the ...

This Anime Really Portray The Lives of Lonely People
Looking for an anime that is down to the ground, realistic, if you compare it to the real world? Well "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU" does a great job portraying the perspective of how a lonely person, our main protagonist Hikki, looks at social situations and what he thinks about it. However, I did feel that a lot of the course of events in Hikki's high school life was a bit unrealistic as he was ...

    First Impressions
When I first saw this anime I thought, where is this show going to go? All I knew was that there was a pessimistic protagonist Hachiman and a society that sees him differently than how he sees them.

    Plot 5/5
The story line is there is our main character Hachiman and he is a pessimist who thinks the world is a cruel place full of pain. ...

    Great, if you relate, but...
This series was masterfully done in my opinion, and it ranks as one of my all time favorite television works out of any genre or nationality. To me, it offers a good look into the social motivators of introverted personality types, from philosophical and psychological viewpoints.

It's light enough so that everyone can enjoy it, however, there are elements that might come across as ...

  • Great anime, wishing for more
This anime takes the cake for best anime that I have seen in a while. The male protagonist was very entertaining for me to watch and the overall humor in this show was great to hear. I enjoyed most of the characters, but there were times where I was frustrated with Hakigaya for being a hypocrite with himself, but the pain portrayed at those times "connected" me more with his plight. I wish that ...
