  • Nice Anime! No need for Improvement!
This anime is great for those who want an evenly paced anime lined with mysterious underscore. However, some questions are still unanswered, and I really am hoping for another season! The main character needs to decide who he's finally going to date! Seriously, what is it with anime people and not giving the main character (who's been around the bunch of girls who he may not have shown interest ...

  • My Teen Dialogue Instructor
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU can at best be described as a good introduction to the difference between Show Don't Tell, and Tell Don't Show. The reason I give the show a 4 Star Rating is because much of the story and development is for the viewer to find. As such, if you are looking for an easy watch, this isn't the series to do it.

You are going to sometimes have to re-watch or think for a ...

  • Complex Romance and Comedic Genius
This is by far one, if not the best rom-com show I've ever seen. Sometimes, you'll find that the rom-com genre often resorts to a very bland harem setting that mostly relies on bullshit fanservice to keep the viewer enticed through the usual 12-episode run time (examples include Infinite Stratos, SAO, and High School DxD). You have cookie-cutter stereotype love interests that are all in love ...

  • Slow plot; has weird lessons; frustrating and awkward to watch
My god, this series is slow. It really takes the slice-of-life genre to an extreme, but it is somewhat enjoyable. Unfortunately, I really have a hard time connecting with the 2 super-weird, completely anti-social main characters. I just want to choke the life out of them in half of the episodes. It's really frustrating to watch at times, especially since I usually disagree with the main ...

  • One of the Best and Thought Provoking
Being more of a slice of life, philosophical romance story, surprisingly, the characters leave nothing to be desired and are all intelligent in their own way. They develop perfectly and the anime execution is on point to what the light novel is. Instead of reading this, make it to at least episode 3 or 4 and see if you aren't completely drawn in. If only the light novel would start to release more ...

  • Eh?! What's this about axes?
    My Youth Rom-Com SNAFU.
Similar to Seitokai Yakuindomo, we have our hero, our protagonist and savior of the world being dropped into his staple of "clubs with snowflakes who sit by a window!!"
Although much more tame than Seitokai, it's still an entertaining series that is only cringe-worthy when it wants to be. Here's a quote from Ben Yahtzee Croshaw; "The basic appearance hides a deep ...

  • Take out all the nice bits and I'm sure this story is like many of our own
Man, this anime was entirely too relatable, except for all the stuff where the main character gets friends and finds a purpose in helping others. To me, this is a kinda sorta romantic comedy doesn't really seem like one, which, judging by the title, is exactly what the creators were going for. I greatly enjoyed being able to relate to Hachiman as a bit of self deprecating loner but there were a ...

  • Love this anime! NEED SEASON 3!
You can't just leave the show on that cliff hanger! I want to see the two (no names given so I don't spoil it) love each other openly instead of those "moments". This anime was one of my favorite anime of all time. I love the characters, character development, and storyline. The characters of SNAFU seem more unique than other anime. Great visuals too! If you love slice-of-life anime with some ...

  • Rewatch value: Priceless!
I was so caught up in this the first time I watched it. Now after rewatching it, the same scenes, the same lines, the same actions gave me a much better understanding of the characters' responses to them all. And now, after finishing the second season for a second time, I am even more intrigued by this masterpiece than I was the first time.

  • Not your average Rom Com a must watch
I loved every second of the show and i would highly recommend it to any one. The art style in season too! really picks up and it is a lot more emotionally focused. The words that are said through out the series are honest and true there not just empty words they have meaning. In my eyes the story can seem to stall-out and not move sometimes yet other times its just right and can easily throw your ...
