    Could have had more romance
For a show with the word "Romantic" in the title I expected more romance between the main characters. But one rarely sees any of that but lot's of average teenage angst about the other sex with a main protagonist that has his head and nose stuck up in the clouds.

  • OreGairu aka My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu Too!, A review thus far.
The first season of OreGairu was quite a surprise to me. I went into it not expecting much and became a fan quite quickly. Specifically what made the show and still does is the characters and more specifically the main character, Hachiman (or 8man as I like to call him), an extremely cynical yet logical character who is thrown into the Service club. 8man believes that as long as the request is ...

  • Not too Shabby I Must say
I enjoyed this anime from beginning to end, however for me the story line seems sort of predictable and cliché. I don't know what it is about smart guys that get girls going or even smart girls that get guys going but, this anime has a weird turn of events from time to time. The art style is lovely fun to watch, the voices match each character's personality which is a plus. Overall I have to say ...

The most hated guy in Chiba has reached new levels of self-loathing.
I absolutely love Hachiman. The self-awareness, the inability to trust, the contempt of social customs, and his uncanny ability to break down social interaction into their most basic truth with a pessimistic slant. He embraces his weaknesses and wears them like armor. With his ability to analyze human interaction, only he is capable of manipulating events to lead to their most desirable ...

  • Great anime well worth watching!
I'll admit, in the beginning I was hesitant to start this anime based on the title, it sounded generic and silly, possibly another one of those cheap harem animes, but happily I was completely wrong. It's a great story of characters who all have their own qwerks, particularly socially. The animators and writers of this anime made not only an interesting story but each character was interesting and ...

  • My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Review
This show took me a while to get into, but now I think that it's awesome. The main characters are very well thought out and you can relate to each one of them. From not wanting anything to do with people and shutting them out. To trying to be like your friends just to be popular. The design/art style of the show is very nice. The main male character Hikigaya, as dark as he may seem when he's ...

One of the best rom coms ever
The main character is very relateable and the anime seems to smash all the cliche romantic comedy scenes. Since the main character isn't exactly popular, he has suffered from countless failures in relationship forming. The monologues he gives are intriguing and well thought out no matter how negative they may be. The many side characters that appear each have their own appeal and provide either a ...

    Watch 'till the end!
To start this off: I fully recommend to watch this anime!!

That being said, the first season was great and did what it was supposed to do. It laid down the settings and characters and got us familiar with their personalities and how they interact with one another. Sure most of the side-characters seem to have their one-track personalities but all that gets tossed on its head in season two! ...

  • The most intriguing school life so far.
Every episode of this is gripping, My Teen Romantic Comedy masquerades as just another cutsey shoujo with its color scheme, but this is a tale of intrigue and intense analysis into the psyche of human relationships in general. With, perhaps the exception of 2-3 characters, every single character is extremely perceptive and nuanced, influencing the things around them with what power in the social ...
