  • Interesting ROMCOM!!
HIkki is truthful and takes any chance possible to isolate himself from the rest which adds so much depth to his character development. The only weird part to this show is his romance with the boy who people think is a girl. Other than that its very well done.

  • An Excellent example of the highchool I left behind.
At first I was apprehensive of the whole romcom anime genre for a number of reasons. However after watching this I found myself bursting out laughing, loving the characters, and absolutely hooked!

I strongly recommend this show to those who are unsure, or want to bring a friend into this fandom

The kind of story that stands out
Out of approximately 80 school life shows I have watched 4 or maybe 5 are actually shows I would feel comfortable saying "they're really good". SNAFU has a very unusual main character for the genre; cold, antipathetic, but confident and with actual character, NOT your average harem nervous wimp whose only strength is "a huge kindness". SNAFU achieves something that's rare for recent anime shows: ...

  • Wonderful-ish loners
I mainly love the show for the loner duo protagonists (and Yui). You have the ice queen Yukino Yukinoshita who's hated by girls but loved by guys (only romantically) and then there's Hachiman Hikigaya, he's a bit pitiful but I prefer his outlook more

  • Recommended from a friend. Great anime.
Just like "Another" this isn't the typical anime I would watch. However. because m friend adamantly insisted I watched it, I did and I definitely do not regret it.This show has turned out to be very interesting to me and I can see a lot of potential for later on. I agree that the characters are all nice and have their own quirks which make you end up liking them a lot, but oh my god... the ...

I will watch this again once a second season, comes out. The characters are great. People need to watch this show. If they do they won't be disappointed, it does have its funny spots, and other are gringe. You should just have fun watching this show and not act so serious.

  • Despicably delightful to watch
One cannot help but admire and agree with Hikki's convoluted yet matter-of-fact snide remarks and the way he communicates with Yukino - priceless! I love Hikki's monologues and also adore his twisted conversations with Yukino. Yui was sort of the refreshing breaks from the thought-inducing exchanges between Hikki and Yukino.

How I wish there was a season 2 on this anime. I have watched it ...

  • Amazing and very realistic in many ways
This show is fantastic, it is a fun breakaway from the normal anime cliches that sometimes get a little old after a while. The art style is beautiful and the story is truly captivating, every episode gets better and better and I only wished for a second season for this but the manga is amazing also.

  • SO GOOD, SO GLAD THEY ARE MAKING SEASON 2!
This is pretty good anime, it might not look like it but it's good. I'm glad that they are making a season 2 and I can't wait until April. The plot was great. I just hope that Yukino and Hachiman hit off. This is honestly one of the best anime i have ever watched. So this is a Thumbs up for me.

  • It's Good For What It Is
This is your basic slice of life anime. It stars a male protagonist who doesn't believe in youth and collectivity but prefers to be alone, a female protagonist who believes in doing the best you can in life, and another ordinary female who basically brings some normality to the show. It doesn't really do anything new for the genre and has most of the basics: school festival, camping, etc. Even the ...
