    Mysterious Girlfriend X
This anime at first seemed very strange but after watching the first couple episodes i was hooked. I have no idea why this anime is so addicting and awesome. The awkward moments between urabe and tsubaki are so interesting and this is slowly becoming my favorite anime ever. I hope this anime continues for a much much longer time.

  • honestly, get past the 1st episode and you will be hooked!
the whole saliva thing was weird, but it's not weird enough to gross you out or turn you away from the show.

Rather, it ENTICES the viewer to keep watching, and yup it worked!!! How and why? well here's the answer:

characters: The main female protaginist is terrific! the male protaginist is nothing unique, but the chemistry he has with the female lead is terrific

    storyline: haha seriously ...

A surprisingly good, if weird series
First off, let me explain that this series is good, but it is very difficult to explain why. The only honest descriptions I can give of this series would certainly not sound good. For starters, the personalities of these children, and the dreams they experience view like a highlight reel of Sigmund Freud's creepiest theories; ranging from ludicrous and campy to creepy and revolting. The 'bond' ...

    Mysteriously addicting...
I judged the series by its poster, jumping into it hoping for a twist on the usual high-school romance themes. Boy, did I get more than I bargained for.

Mysterious Girlfriend X is a very bizarre show. It has all the overtones of being an erotic show, but manages to warp all that tension into a heart-warming story about two people falling in love for the first time. The show (through episode ...

    Mysterious Girlfriend indeed!
A couple of episodes in I was still trying to get my head around the theme of the show (exchanging saliva) it's wired but fascinating in a strange way. The Characters are all likeable enough and I'm finding myself getting more hooked with each episode.

    Great Show Great Show
Your first instinct is going to be ewww! But once you get over that you'll realize that can love everything else about this show. The throwback drawing style, the character quirks, and of course the teenage angst. I don't know where it's going but I'm totally along for the ride.

Funny Twists Will Pull You In
Highly recommended. Ueshiba Riichi's quirky school romance-comedy manga gets a lively, faithful treatment from director Ayumu Watanabe and Hoods Entertainment -- retaining the intriguing stories and real chemistry between protagonists Tsubaki and Urabe that illuminate the manga. Coupled with strong production values, this is a sure bet for innocent bystanders and Riichi fans alike.

    The ...
