  • Unique, Weird, Sexual, Sweet and Innocent at the same time.
If..... Hayao Miyazaki ( the Genius who made ''My Neighbor Totoro'' and other's classics by Ghibli. ) and Tim Burton, had a Baby, that baby would be the creator of this spectacular anime. In mine OPINION '' Mysterious Girlfriend X'' haves to be the ''VERY'' coolest , WEIRDEST!!, Heart-Beating, anime i ever seen!?!?!? I got hooked towards the anime when i first saw Urabe, laughing ...

  • Good anime, kind of weird.
This anime was good in plot, characters, and all around concept, But it was really weird. The concept of connection almost telepathically through saliva is a "interesting and Creative" thought to say the least. The show gets a little emotional and i wouldn't suggest it to you're typical DBZ fan boy but if you like relationship based anime this ones not bad. cant compare to the manga, no prior ...

  • Not Your Original Love Story
Mysterious girlfriend x I'd say is a very "interesting" love tale. The main charactor is a boy named tsubaki. A virgin "obviously" with a fasination with experiencing intimacy, weather that experice will be big or small. Majority of the story shows tsubaki, and Urabe develop there relationship.

The show is very quirky and filled with a very 90s drawing style. Filled with a interesting ...

  • Give this anime a chance
At first it may look like an anime out of the ordinary. But what really made this anime one of my favorite series i have watch is because the story is was original and had plenty of great scenes... oh and it was OUT OF THE ORDINARY. The "drool" thing will grow on you like others have said it just takes some time to get used to. I really hope to see a second season of Mysterious Girlfriend X and if ...

  • A touching yet strange love story
Okay I'll be honest, when I watched the first episode i was gonna write it off since i just couldn't grasp onto the whole drool thing but i continued to watch out of curiosity and I'm glad i did. Yes drool plays a big role in the show but the main focus is on Tsubaki and Urabe and their developing relationship. If you can get pass the drool you'll find that this is a very good watch. And if that ...

  • One of the finest examples of adaptation I have ever seen
This quirky, slightly kinky, but ultimately surprisingly sweet show is one of the finest examples of adaptation of a series from the original manga material that I have ever watched. The director is masterfully blending and mixing the chapters, which were frequently a bit disjointed and unconnected in the original slice-of-life manga, and weaving them into a coherent, consistent story with the ...
