  • Only on episode 17.....
It's a much lighter anime than I usually watch. All the characters are so wholesome, and no fighting (well be sides words). It's about these kids that live under the ocean and they have to start going to school on land. Well it's the average kid growing up story for the most part with the whole water/land conflicts. Then half way through the show something major happens. And now the episodes can't ...

  • This anime is a beautiful love frenzy with a great story
This anime is hard to describe... It starts off as a prejudice tale about a society of people that are divided by where they live. You would think it's just a typical village vs village thing but it dives so much deeper. Once I saw that one village literally lived under water I was hooked! It was beautiful... One of the most beautiful things I had ever seen in an anime. I'm not going to dive into ...

    Beautiful through and through
A Lull in the Sea is a story of a group of friends from the ocean who start attending a high school on the surface. While attending said school they one by one begin to accept and become accepted by the people of the surface. while they build bonds with the people they are also each struggling with their own personal problems which range from family to each other to culture. Along side a wonderful ...

Not what I was used to watching, but a very pleasant surprise!
I originally heard of this anime after loving the song from the Promotional Video (Nagi Nagi by Ray), so I decided to give it a watch. Normally, I'm into the high action kind of anime, animes like Fullmetal Alchemist, Sword Art Online, Gurren Lagann, etc. So this was the first anime that I've seen that was more along the lines of "Drama." I didn't really know what to expect, but I was ...

Nagi No Asukara: a slow tide
When I first started watching this show, I thought well this will be a good time killer. I love crunchyroll because it allows me to sample all different kinds of anime, everything from silly borderline sis-con eroge to action oriented shonen. Because of this, ill watch the first episode of almost any anime that appears on this website. Some times the anime turn out of be stuff I can't get ...

The anime that will make you change your mind.
There isn't many bad things I can say about this anime, in fact I can't think of any. The music is absolutely perfect in everyway and the animation is so beautiful I have to rewind from time to time because I forgot to read the subtitles. In this point of the season the show can turn out anyway in wants to there is no telling how it will end for any of the characters. It is definitely worth ...

    Great Character Development
This is one of the few anime I think is actually interesting. It has a bigger plot than just romance, it has great character development and the characters are actually pretty interesting. A lot of the characters can seem melodramatic at times (Manaka literally cries in every episode), but that's fine for me. I mostly just laugh it off. It has a very interesting plot too.

one of the best animes i've ever watched
nagi no asukara is amazing! it makes me so sad though because it just hits you tremendously hard with the feels. also the love.... shape is kind of complicated but that just adds even more suspense and effect to the anime. im a pretty tough person when it comes to crying but this anime has made me shed tears like a waterfall. if you like animes with a "love shape" then you will most likely love ...

    I'm lovin' it!!!!!!!
I literally think that there should be more anime like this. If there was, it would be awesome. The friends from the sea coming to the surface, then departing after a ocean hurricane. Then after 5 years new thing and unchanged things start to happen.

    Definitely a favourite
The animation is very clear, the plot is fully developed and keeps you asking for more. All of the characters are dynamic, and connected to one another. All in all, this is one of my favourite anime series. It's beautifully illustrated and just really phenomenal.
