A lull in the sea review
After i saw the cover of Nagi No asukara, i fell in love with the art. And the idea about people living under the ocean, because ive dreamed alot about breathing underwater when i was younger. This anime is really beautiful in art and animation, characters are one of a kind too. Plot twists are everywhere and its really peaceful anime.

I recommend this to romance/drama lovers and also to people ...

Breaks away from the cliche. Absolutely in love.
Anyone debating on watching this show, i guarantee you will not be disappointed. The trolls who have rated this poorly ONLY watched PART of the first episode. I'll admit, it's SLOW at the beginning, but mid-way... it HOOKS you. I'm not trying to talk badly about the other anime titles this season, but they're all really cliche in my opinion. This... BREAKS AWAY from that. Great character ...

    Did not expect this.
I have to say I don't know what I thought this show was going to be like when I picked it up, but this was certainly not it (in a good way). For some reason, a lot of people don't like the first episode, but I thought it was interesting. As I kept going, I fell in love with the series. The character interactions and the way they influence the story is phenomenal. The development of the main ...

    Finally something different!!
I was shocked when watching this anime. I have always liked romance and school related animes but this took it to a whole new level. I love the concept of how people used to live underwater and how the public does want relationships forming between these people. If you like romance, love triangles, and a whole lot of "did not see that coming" defiantly give this anime a watch.

Nagi-Asu: Lull in the Sea is not a lull, but a jewel of the sea
The show starts out kind of typical. A group of friends transferring to a new school because their's closed. Now they're heading to the surface because they live in the sea. Wait...what? And that's just the beginning of little unexpected surprises throughout the show. Let's not forget the scale of the sea god who watches over the village in the sea which is going to have all its residents go into ...

    Decent, But Not Amazing
Alright, let me start off by saying that this anime isn't bad, but for me, it' just way too slow. I'm at episode 7 right now, and you read a lot of these reviews saying that the first episode or two start slow, well I'm at episode 7 and I still feel like I haven't got anywhere. All of the conflicts in the show just seem very minor, and you don't care for many of them because the character ...

The Lull in the Sea is a Torrent of Suspense
This anime focuses on the relationships of the five core characters in a fantastical modern Japan where humans that live in the sea and humans that live on land can interact with each other. The five characters, four sea people and one from the land who they befriend after the beginning of the story, go to junior high school, so a number of their classmates also become minor characters.

    I do ...

    A must watch for all!
This anime makes me happy in so many ways. Its got that "simple yet amazing" sort of story and I can't wait for each episode to come out. I love all the characters and really enjoy the originality of the series. Each character really makes me feel what they are feeling. It's hard not to enjoy!

Watch it, watch it, watch it.
This anime can claim a lot of successes. The art is beautiful, the characters are memorable and developed, and the plot, which slowly grows more and more complicated, is enthralling and suffers very few short-comings. I love how simple inter-personal drama within this small group of friends grows into something so much bigger. I literally want to tear my eyes out after watching each episode due to ...
