A truly GREAT anime that all should enjoy.
Now, I will be honest first and say that at the very beginning I was skeptical of this anime. P.A. Works, haven't seen alot of their stuff. They have on their rap sheet....um...Well they have Angel Beats, Red Data Girl...ooh 'Another'....True Tears... Canaan... hm. Well, I can say this now. Nagi no Asukara is easily the best series I have ever seen from them.

Following the life of 4 middle ...

    Loving the frustration.
When you start to watch this after the first couple of episodes, you'll get frustrated. You'll probably yell, "JUST GET TOGETHER ALREADY". But, after awhile the characters personalities develop and so does the situation and you will see some surprising outcomes. If your a girl you will cry a lot, if your a guy . . . pretend to care if your with your girlfriend. Honestly I cant see anything wrong ...

One of the best animes out there...
I have have got to be honest here. In the beginning, I thought this would be one of those anime that is so-so and childish based on the character design. But as the story progresses it becomes mature. The time skip is nicely done.

For now, I give this a five star rating.

    A NEW FAVORITE FORSURE
I honestly had no idea what to expect from the anime besides the fact that there was water involved. Im so grateful that I began watching because I couldn't stop! The entire story is so emotional & well written! One of my favorites now! Must purchase when on DVD

    Surprisingly Fantastic
A surprising standout of the season for me. I've watched a lot of the more popular shows of the season recently, but I keep thinking about this one. Besides being very well written, the world of Nagi no Asukara has a certain loftiness and believability to it that I wasn't expecting. The art, music, and writing come together neatly here to create a tone that resonates throughout the show, and ...

    Fantastic and Wonderful
Many think of Nagi no Asukara as the typical cute-and-colorful anime at first look, but after watching every episode I call tell you that not it at all. This story is based on two seemingly different races of humans who have been feuding for as long as anyone can remember. They are the people of the sea and the people of the surface.

    Art:
Let's start off with the obvious first impression, the ...

  • Mi opinión sobre la serie en general.
Éste anime me resulta impecable. El uso de efectos especiales me parece acertado; la ambientación, la música, los escenarios maravillosamente ilustrados. La calidad en la animación es de las mejores que he visto. La trama muestra vuelcos y triángulos amorosos que mantienen el interés en el espectador.
    Altamente recomendable.

    Mari Okada's animated masterpiece!
Out of all of the shows I watched from Fall 2013, the one series that I was truly captivated by was Nagi no Asukara. Right from the beginning I was pulled in by the gorgeous visuals and animation courtesy of PA Works, as well as the main cast being led by the ever-talented, ever-popular, and ever-adorable Kana Hanazawa and Ai Kayano as well as the newly popular Kaito Ishikawa (Suisei no ...

One of the best drama anime
This is a drama anime - one of the best that I've seen. The show has excellent characterisation, beautiful artwork, and great execution. The characters in this show are well-written, interesting, and very much relatable. The art is self-explanatory. And the show actually makes you care about the drama and sympathise with the characters and their plights. The pacing is a bit iffy, but if you like ...

    Best Drama of all time
Nagi no Asukara is the best drama anime of all time in my opinion. Its sad, happy, will make you cry, and was completely unpredictable in the earlier episodes. When I first started watching it, I did not like it because of Hikari always bullying Manaka and acting like a big jerk. Overtime though, the characters that were introduced and given important roles grew and kept on growing. Character ...
