    ...without giving away plot, there will be two instances when speech pattern is brought up in Shippuden, once Naruto will identify someone because of their speech pattern and the other time someone will remark about Naruto's speach pattern.

    @koriley the significance of dattebayo is not in it's meaning but in the fact that it's sort of a speech pattern that only Naruto uses so if it was translated as "ya know?" it's not that unique while "believe it" is unmistakably Naruto

    @ElizabethFP LOL no they're not related but probably everybody thought they were when they first saw these two. Rock Lee is just so infatuated with Gai Sensie that Lee ended up imitating him in every way he acts and dresses
