in additon Narutos father was the student of Jiraiya. narutos father was also the 4th hokage and the one who sealed the kyubi in naruto. his mother was also the last host of the kyubi. Jiraiya was there during the events that lead to ------

the true reason percy sage know is that he is narutos godfather. in fact the name naruto was origonally Jiraiya's idea. the name is something he came up with for the name of the main character of his first book. narutos mother liked it^^
