    @Kippu Every TV show's beginning episodes lack animation/effects/acting because they never know if the show will be a success, so the production budget is lower than later on in the series

    This arc remains my favorite even now. Even this lame Engrish ending theme makes me nostalgic. I'm not sure how to explain it but everything started going downhill after this arc. Though, it really nose dived one arc later.

    It's nice to watch Shippuden upto the newest episode and then come back to rewatch beginning episodes to see what hints you can pickup that you didn't understand when you first watch the starting episodes of the anime.
