This was certainly a moving episode. It really makes you think about a lot of different things, from some very different perspectives.

A touching story. The glowing sakura with the moon in the background is beautiful, it's like something from a dream.

wow, this anime is actually quite... serious ...involving so much of the war and that, still holding my interest tho ^^... and ofc i want to find out more about all the aspects of the story :0

Finally, an anime character who understands the danger of time travel. That was sad.

@onthemorrow, many Axis nations had mothers and children assembling bullets & bombs at home early on. Powder, shell and foundry work were done in factories using "guest workers." The ignorance of kids like buggy1 worries me.

i feel like throwing salt at the guy, purification salt that is, that out to sting him into shutting up.

I love every bit of the artwork. Almost like FLCL but with a plot. And mebbe like Aubrey Beardsley time-traveled to direct the B&W scenes. I call this here anime a classic.

The US sure love to kill innocent civilians into despair. Effective strategy since they know they've already won so strategic and factory bombing would had been pointless.

Carpet bombing is beautiful ^_^ Everything burns to ash and is incinerated in a storm. Don't pick a fight unless you can ensure your victory.

i agree if he is going to die any ways why not dye knowing the person ulove loved u as well, even if it changes the story shouldn't it be for good, the pain will stay there anyways.......

datterama32, the US bombing raids over japan consisted of thermite incendiary carpet bombing. because the were only giving general locations of strategic points (i.e. why black outs were necessary).

I don't see why it would change history if she told him she was from the future and she known about his death. Worst case he would think she is insane.
