    Ahh now where to begin...
Natsume has been my dear friend for a few years now. This series is more about personal growth and overcoming your own demons, rather than just a supernatural slice of life. Alot can be learned from this series. If your ready for the emotional journey- to really be immersed in a story-please watch this. You will cry, your heart will ache, but I promise you every episode will leave your mind ...

I'm one of those action kind of guys, but when it comes to The Natsume Yujincho series, i change in mood, it's a kind of series meant for anyone of all ages, it has those life living moment where it just relates to you in life. Great storytelling a must see show.
Natsume Yujin-cho shi is the fourth season of the Natsume yujin-cho series. This is one series that anyone can enjoy regardless of anime preferences this fourth season to me it seem a little more focus on Natsume's human relationships when compare to the previous seasons but still a great show to watch. The storytelling is probably one of the best I've seen in anime. This is one show I would ...

Simply the best in its genre.
Nastume Yujin-cho shi is the fourth season of the popular anime series of Natsume Yujincho.

Natsume, a young highschool boy with the 'gift' of seeing spirits since he was a child. The anime shows the events that unfold since he moved from the city to a country town to live with his distant relatives due to various circumstances, as well as revealing Natsume's past as he goes through his ...

    A Warm, Heartfelt Show..
I sincerely hope they continue this series, but given the last episode, it is unclear whether they intend to make any more.

Natsume Yujin-cho is the heartfelt story of a young man befriending both humans and youkai in a world that seems to despise him for his very ability to see youkai.

As I mentioned in a previous review, the story is less about his encounters with the youkai and more about ...

    A winner for storytelling
There's not much I can add to the wonderful, plentiful reviews already here... but Natsume Yuujin-chou Shi added finer resolution, cleaner animation and the long-awaited background story behind Takashi's early life and the treatment he'd suffered in response to his gift.

"-Shi" also gave me the impression that it was a bit more substantial in tone than the past 3 seasons, a bit more serious. ...

    AND ALL THE CUTE YOKAI
When I finished Natsume Yujin-cho, I though to myself "Nothing could be better". And then I started Natsume Yujin-cho Shi and realized I was wrong, because Natsume Yujin-cho Shi was amazing, amazing, amazing.
It's so easy to get caught up in the gentle nature of Natsume Yujin-cho. It is adorable, endearing, and heart-breaking all at the same time.
Watching it just feels good. It really is an ...

Natsume's fourth installment is an awe inspiring overall masterpiece.
I have to start with the final episode: the best episode between the first four series. Period. It delivers a powerful emotional punch to one's soul, and exceptionally explains why Natsume is one of the most unique anime characters out there. Backed up by top class writing, Natsume's fourth installment focuses more on his childhood memories and how much he had to endure before finding a real ...

    Natsume Yujincho: Sublime and affecting
I cannot say better that which has been well-worded and well-said by the previous reviewers; these are testament to all parties involved who've created the story-line and the animation work, all of which has been consistently fresh while continuously engaging. I'd say that when this series finds itself at the actual and final end of its story, we will miss it but as Natsume has respected and ...

    Excellent Anime for Everyone
Natsume Yujin-cho has to be one of the best shounen animes out there. The artwork is very well done and unique. There are a variety of character designs that you won't find in any other anime. The characters are also well done. They all have their distinct personalities. The different relationships Natsume has with both the youkai and humans are interesting and heart-warming. Natsume is a ...
