    An anime that stands out
Natsume Yujincho centers around Natsume and his evolving relationship with the youkais and humans around him. It is relaxing and heart-warming, something that you would love to watch after a tiresome day. The show has a lot of depth, and it differs from other youkai stories by having the youkai experience the same emotions as a human.

Except for the ability to see youkai, Natsume is normal. He ...

Heartwarming, funny, calm, artistic, emotional, and powerful. Natsume's story is a must feel.
    Natsume Yujin-cho - Season 1
One of the best written series I have seen to date. Small but excellent cast of characters. The ending song just gets to your heart and takes the emotional level on each episode just that much further. The unique stories on each episode leaves the viewer speechless due to the emotional way that they are told. This first season was a personal favorite. ...

    My friend Natsume Takashi
This anime is more than a supernatural slice of life. It's about human nature, the good and the bad. It's about struggling with yourself and the world that surrounds. It's about life at it's very best. Natsume has been my friend for a very long time and I've never rooted for someone as much as I have for him. This series can really bring the good out in you, should you continue to the next one. It ...

    lovely, low-key paranormal story
Following the progression of the seasons in a small town in rural Japan, and rich in Japanese folklore, Natsume Yujincho is the story of an orphaned boy with the ability to see youkai, Japanese nature spirits. Having spent most of his childhood being shuttled from foster home to foster home, Natsume Takashi arrives at his latest home as a painfully shy teenager who finds it easier to relate to ...

    Natsume Yujincho takes the gold!
among all of the animes and manga out there a nice group of them are about spirits and things closely related to them. Natsume Yujincho stands out in the fact that the heroin is all but flashy, not love struck, and very grounded. As well as the support and side characters. i personally like how calm the colors are in comparison to the brightness of Inuyasha. this series is one of the better in ...

Surprised At How Great This Is!
After reading the description of the show, I figured I might like to watch an episode here or there. However on a day when I didn't have class, I binge-watched the first two seasons. After doing a little checking I discovered that Natsume Yujin-cho is the first 3 seasons of the series and Crunchyroll has the fourth season titled Natsume Yujin-cho Shi. Probably become Shi is 4 in Japanese. I don't ...

Words do not do justice to Natsume Yujin-cho
This anime is sure to fill you full of joy. Natsume is such a peaceful joyful anime that you simply must watch. You owe it to yourself to at the very least watch a few episodes. I can assure you that you will find hours of peace and joy. This anime is profoundly moving and touching. Words do not do justice to Natsume.

    A beautiful and touching anime
On one hand, this is a blend of horror and adventure as Natsume Takashi deals with the spirits and monsters only he can see.

At its heart, though, this is the story about a lost boy learning to find his place in the world.

    Natsume Yujin-Cho is a Must-Watch Anime
Natsume Yujin-cho has to be one of the best shounen animes out there. The artwork is very well done and unique. It has it's own style that you won't find in too many animes. The art sometimes reminds you of ancient Japanese art. There are a variety of character designs that you won't find in any other anime. The characters are also well done. They all have their own distinct personalities. The ...
