My Little Gamer: Moe is Magic? (Edited!)
Although this series does succumb to some moe moe cliches, I'm pleased to say that my initial impressions to this anime were actually a little off, as this series DOES in fact show some real insights into the gaming industry.

The title of this review is pretty much how I feel about this series so far. You've got kawaii kawaii desu sugoi moe humor and some real attempts at showing friendships ...

    Wow like adults and everthing
Its a real nice change of pace from the usual High School drama. Of course, if anyone has ever worked at a job they know how much drama can be found at one's workplace. So if you're tired of the same high schoolers , dealing with clubs, wondering if it will survive another year and the festival at the end, this is the anime for you.

    Whistle While You Work!
Great fun as Aoba Suzukaze, fresh out of high school, begins work at her dream job at gaming company Eagle Jump. And as luck (or anime) would have it, she ends up working on the third installment of her own favorite game, under the supervision of the original character designer! Now, we can already tell that this will be no SHIROBAKO; I'm not actually anticipating learning much about how ...

It's anime girls making a video game.
This anime so far seems to be your standard 'slice of life with anime girls' affair. The gimmick seems to be that the girls are developers in a video game company.

It's about a young tropey anime girl who acquires a job as a video game developer. All other employees at this game company also 'coincidently' happen to be a variety of tropey anime girls. The show then goes on to show us the daily ...

When you need a special kind of cute
No real angst. No evil plots. Just cute likable characters working together. But sometimes, that can be the most relaxing kind of show to watch. The kind that makes you feel good the entire time you're watching it. That's what this is. It's comfort food anime.

Moe, CGDCT, and yuri, yuri, yuri
Perfect anime for a young adult male like myself to relax after work and enjoy the cutest girls making a video game while subsequently struggling to come to terms with their subconscious attraction to one another. This anime is the epitome of the moe CGDCT genre with hints of yuri sprinkled all over it.

Very intriguing and I think you would enjoy it.
Everyone in this anime is basically girls making a video game. It's a cute style and the graphics are amazing, the storyline is pretty interesting for the main character (Aoba) since she just begun to work there as a new recruit. She's trying to make a game that she had loved since childhood. I recommend this game to anyone that loves cute anime girls.

It is what it sets out to be.
This show knows what it is; A silly show about pretty women in an office. There is a healthy amount of comedy, a fair to bordering on the ridiculous amount of Yuri subtext (That the show itself acknowledges) and no real plot or drama.
Where the show shines is in that it doesn't try to be anything that it isn't, and instead focuses on being really good for what it is.

    It's Always a Good Time
Dive into the colourful offices of Eagle Jump in the shiny new anime from Doga Kobo, New Game! Aoba, fresh out of high school, is hired at a video game company where she will be working on the sequel to her favorite childhood game, Fairies Story. Over the 12 episode run we see her hi-jinks in the office, as she works along side a cast of wacky cute characters. Rather then provide you with ...

    Utterly enjoyable and Charming!
I know it's too easy to be burned out on Moe anime...

But this one has a different presentation to some 99+% Moe anime out there! It's Cute, yes but genuinely funny at times! The characters are enjoyable to see interact with each other and while a lot of the job situations are the same, If you know anything of the workings of the game industry you will find this so much more enjoyable.

    This ...
