To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Tatsunoko Productions, the studio has taken it upon itself to tie up with a local department store located close to its studio, which also happens to be celebrating its 55th anniversary. Rather than let an obvious cross-promotional oppportunity go to waste, the Tobu department store and Tatsunoko have an entire slate of events and promotional activities planned under the TOBU × Tatsunoko Pro GoGo Project.
The official website for the upcoming stage play based on the multimedia project B-Project featuring fictional male idol characters today revealed the cast visuals of two of its four idol groups, THRIVE and KiLLER KiNG. Takanori Nishikawa, who performs as T.M.Revolution, has served as executive producer for the project since September 2015.

It is officially confirmed today that a TV anime adaptation of Haruko Ichikawa's action fantasy manga Houseki no Kuni (Land of The Lustrous) is now in the works for an October 2017 premiere. The anime's official website also opens with a teaser visual and reveals its main staff members including director Takahiko Kyogoku (Pretty Rhythm, Love Live!). After offering 70 languages, Duolingo, a freemium language-learning platfomr/smartphone apps, has been getting about as many requests for Japanese coverage as you'd expect. In other words, Japanese for English speakers was their most requested course in Duolingo's five-year history.
