This winter Haoliners Animation League, the creators of To Be Hero presented a TV animation adaptation of Spiritpact, adapting a Chinese web manga featuring a supernatural story with ghosts, handsome richmen, and, they promised, lots of BL ambiguity. The official movie poster has been revealed for Brave Storm, an upcoming live-action tokusatsu film that reboots the classic 1970's TV shows Super Robot Red Baron and Silver Mask as a modern day clash between mecha and alien invaders. Hit the jump to check it out.

With puns and word plays, Gundam geeks have it that March 3rd is Zaku Day, April 6 is GM Day, the 7th is Gundam Day (in honor of the broadcast's start), May 9 is Gogg Day, September 2nd is Gouf Day, and, favorite of many, October 6th is Dom Day! Well timed for DD, Fumina and Gyanko took the spotlight in the the new, third episode of net-anime "Gundam Build Fighters : Battlogue" and a pair of accompanying model kits.

TV anime Hinako Note is holding a pair of special stage performances at the Japan Education Center's Hitotsubashi Hall venue in Tokyo on October 08, 2017, and now a new key visual has been released for the event that features the main cast dressed as characters from the classic Japanese fairy tale, Momotaro. Viz Media announced at this week's New York Comic Con that the company has licensed Blame! for home video release. The 2017 CGI anime movie from Hiroyuki Seshita at Polygon Pictures adapts Tsutomu Nihei's cyber-horror manga. It streamed on Netflix. More after the jump.
Just prior to this weekend's New York Comic Con, Dark Horse revealed plans to team up with Nintendo on a series of ARMS graphic novels. There isn't too much info at the moment, but Dark Horse shared a look at artwork by Joe Ng, who previously illustrated characters from the Darkstalkers and Street Fighter series for some of Udon Entertainment's books.
From new story scenes and Trials to aspects of the land of Alola itself, there are some key differences to look forward to in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The Pokémon Company makes them seem particularly exciting and intense in the latest Japanese trailer, which previews the enhanced pair of games ahead of their November 17 launch.
Kotoyama's sweets manga Dagashi Kashi is coming back for a second TV anime in 2018. Hotaru Shidare (CV Ayana Taketatsu), Kokonotsu Shikada (CV Atsushi Abe), Saya Endo (CV Manami Numakura) and To Endo (CV Tatsuhisa Suzuki) are returning, but they're joined by new girl Hajime Owari (translating to Begin End), along with a new principal studio and principal staff. A new look at plans dates the series to January with Chinatsu Akasaki voicing Hajime.
At this weekend's New York Comic Con, Viz Media has a slate of new book plans to announced. Their pipeline of Pokémon offerings is now set to include the Sun & Moon manga by Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto's and the Horizon manga by Tenya Yabuno plus Pompom Pokémon. The hardcover editions of Naoki Urasawa's Eisner Awarding winning 20th Century Boys, which were released in Japan last year, have been licensed.
The official website for the stage play adaptation project based on Abi Umeda's Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau/Children of the Whales today revealed a key visual for its upcoming rerun in January and February 2018. Japanese publisher Kawade Shobo Shinsha today posted a 30-second short version anime PV for Yusuke Yamada (Real Onigokko)'s first novel in four years, Boku wa Robot goshi no Kimi ni Koi wo Suru/I Fall in Love with You through a Robot, voiced by Miyu Irino and Kana Hanazawa. Aniplex today released a key visual for the upcoming second cour of the TV anime adaptation of Kotono Kato's historical fantasy manga Shokoku no Altair/Altair: A Record of Battles. In addition to the main characters who already appeared in the first cour, the visual also introduces a new character Carvajal voiced by Daisuke Hirakawa.
