Following up on yesterday's post about new Attack on Titan 2 features, Famitsu swooped in with an online preview showcasing a handful of fresh screenshots. The sequel is due out in early 2018, and you can see a few menacing Titans, Eren, Armin, and the long-distance scoping ability of the monocular after the jump.

When Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux (also known as Deep Strange Journey) launches in Japan, it will be available in a 25th Anniversary Memorial Box edition. This limited edition version packs the game with six discs of music and a Shin Megami Tensei Maniacs memorial scripture, all in a special box for ¥18,144 (after tax, bringing it to about $161). Anime director Goro Miyazaki (From Up on Poppy Hill, Ronia the Robber's Daughter) is supervising the Japanese language adaptation of Monkey King: Hero is Back (known as Xi you ji zhi da sheng gui lai in China and Saiyuki: Hero is Back in Japan), a 2015 3DCG animated film based on the Chinese literary classic, Journey to the West. The creators of the anime adaptation of horror manga master Junji Ito are looking to keep the exact content of the show a surprise until the broadcast. So, though the new visual refers to classic stories like "Tomie," "Fashion Model," "Further Tales of Oshikiri," "Souichi," "Lovesick Dead" and "Slug Girl," they aren't saying which of these or his other work will be appearing. 2017 was a busy year for Nitroplus and DMM Games' historic-sword-as-boys Touken Ranbu. It inspired a Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru TV anime at Doga Kobo. Then, last season, there was a Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu anime at Ufotable. While 2018 looks like it will have at least as much of the swordsmen, as they rest for the fall, some of the most popular have been awarded top spots in anime magazine Newtype's November issue character rankings.
