During this weekend's final performance of the "Maiden Voyage" tour, singer Aimer announced that she will be performing the second opening for ufotable's Fate/stay night - Unlimited Blade Works adaptation. The theme to the spring anime will be her eighth single. As well as previous anime works on series like Bleach, Natsuyuki Rendezvous and Gundam Unicorn, she's heard on the recent port of stay night follow-up Fate /hollow ataraxia.
At last weekend's Winter Wonder Festival, Good Smile Company previewed an upcoming figure adapting an illustration of Saber Alter from Fate/stay night follow-up Fate/hollow ataraxia by Ryohei "Huke" Fuke (Metal Gear Solid, Black Rock Shooter, Steins;Gate). A couple of eagerly awaited fan favorites are finally on their way to arcade version of Examu (Arcana Heart) developed crossover fighting game Nitroplus Blasters: Infinite Heroines Duel. The next four additions include the Fate/zero version of Saber and Ethica Kibanohara from the upcoming Tokyo Necro as playable characters. Meanwhile Super Sonico and Psycho-Pass' Akane Tsunemori join as support characters.
The first Blu-ray collection of Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] is set to ship internationally on March 25, with soundtrack CD, box by Takashi Takeuchi, special digipak, 50-page booklet and new Kinoko Nasu novel "Garden of Avalon," illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi for 39,000yen (before taxes). Unlike some figure lines, Medicom Toy's premium Real Action Heroes has a fairly good balance of gender in its subject. And, those looking for some guys to add to their collection will be pleased to see that Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Archer and the Dark Knight version of Berserk's Guts are the next two offered, with the two 30cm figures respectively coming in October for 25,488yen and November for 32,400yen.

Broadly speaking, Wonder Festival is to figures what Comiket is to doujinshi. While there are plenty of garage kits and customs, familiar figures makers also bring their goodies. With the event coming up February 8th at Makuhari Messe, in Chiba, Japan, Good Smile Company has previewed their semi-event exclusive figures, offered at WonFes, online during the event, and in some cases at other events.
